Directions

Directions: do not take more than directed. The smallest effective dose should be used. Adults and children 12 years and over: take 1 caplet every 4 to 6 hours while symptoms persist. If pain or fever does not respond to 1 caplet, 2 caplets may be used. Do not exceed 6 caplets in 24 hours, unless directed by a doctor. Children under 12 years: ask a doctor. Other information: read all warnings and directions before use. Keep carton stored at 20-25 degrees C (68-77 degrees F). Avoid excessive heat above 40 degrees C (104 degrees F)

Been taking Advil for back pain when it gets too intense. I think Advil is a better choice for me as it is not as hard on my liver as Acetaminophen. It has helped with the pain. I always take it with a good Turmeric supplement and it makes a world of difference. This last time I got Advil with PurityLabs Organic Turmeric Curcumin Supplement - 1100mg, 120 Capsules, with Black Pepper Piperine and 95% Curcuminoids, Highest Potency and Best Joint Pain Relief Formula, Non-GMO & Gluten Free and it really helped manage the pain better than usual. The Turmeric helps with the inflammation and also can act a s a liver protector according to some of the info I read.

I was very frustrated at first that I was unable to easily tear the package open easily, having short nails didn't help. What was the point of having travel packs if I needed scissors to open? But then I figured out how!

Find the corner with the arrow and dotted line. If you look closely you'll see a small perforation that looks like a little crease in the middle. Fold along the this perforation back and front until the perforation breaks enough you can see through it. Now you're ready to tear it open along that perforation like normal!

I needed ibuprofen for my first aid kits. I live on-the-go and pill bottles just don't cut it. I was surprised to see the Advil Tablets brand cheaper than generic versions! As a budget-minded person, it's really nice to get the deluxe version for once. In comparison I bought some non-aspirin packets by Medi-First and the packaging doesn't inspire nearly as much confidence, both with less durability and less info on it. See picture for comparison.

My box actually came with 51 packets! It's nice to know they'll err on the side of more rather than less. The expiration date was approximately 1 year 10 months from when I received it, which I find acceptable.

I love the convenience of the packets, as well as the dispensary design of the box they came in. Most importantly, these packets have the COMPLETE info on them. Expiration date, FULL list of ingredients (both active and inactive), warnings, contraindications, side effects, and usage guidelines. I feel confident tossing the box without removing convenient access to important details.

Definitely plan on buying more when we run low again.

I received this in January 2018 and the expiration date is January 2020 (printed on the outer box as well as each individual packet). We will use these in our house, my husband's shop, and individual emergency medical kit I made for each family member in an Altoid container. They are perfect so that I don't have to carry around one container with various pills rubbing up against each other. I like to purchase these individual packets. They are easy to give to people when someone needs one and simple to replace when you get back home.

I know the title makes it sound like I crushed it up and fed it to my kids, but that's not he case at all.

As a parent, I'm constantly running around and end up in situations where I'm not taking care of myself / over exert myself, and find myself with headaches on the semi-regular. Or, I'm getting old and just bang myself. Do you know how hard it is to run around and keep up with kids!? My joints aren't like when I was 18!

In any case, I now pop an Advil and move on with my life.

There's also the super convenience with the packaging, such that if I have visitors, I can tell them to grab it without getting their potentially germ-filled fingers in the jar. Also, it's convenient to grab a few to bring for traveling purposes.

Just the right amount for that, and if you are distributing to many guests, you don't have to worry about having to beat the expiration date. The leftover packets have been great to have on hand: in my purse, in our medicine cabinets for any guests who visit, in my wallet. I've often been around others who are in need of relief, so it's great to have a packet on hand to hand off to them. The packets are a bit slippery and hard to open, but--being around children--I prefer that to the alternative.
