Our pre-seasoned cast iron aebleskiver pancake pan is made for delicious traditional Danish stuffed pancake balls - also known as Aebleskiver, Ebelskiver, Ebleskiver, Epleskiver, Munker, Puff Pancakes.
Our Danish pancake pan is complete with bamboo skewers - an authentic tool for turning your aebleskivers without damaging your pan. Our pan also comes with a heat resistant removable silicone handle and a soft cotton oven mitt to make cooking aebleskivers safe, hassle-free and enjoyable.
As a bonus you can also use our cookware for making poffertjes, takoyaki, appam, kuli paniyaram, thai kanom krok and other amazing dishes.
We have included a simple aebleskiver recipe and detailed instructions for cast iron cookware use and care. The instructions for seasoned cast iron will help your cookware last a lifetime.

Aebleskiver, Ebelskiver, Stuffed Pancakes... However you call your fluffy round puff pancakes, if you've tried them, you know that they are delicious!

You can use the recipe we have included, a recipe from the web, your grandma's pancake recipe or even regular waffle mix, these pancake balls will turn out yummy - the secret is the pan! (And a little practice!)

Simply turn the aebleskivers with bamboo skewers until they are golden brown all the way around.

Resilient Cast Iron Will Last a Lifetime

The Scandinavian pancake pan is pre-seasoned. “Seasoning” is vegetable oil baked onto the iron at a high temperature: not a chemical non-stick coating. The more you cook, the better it gets. Because you create, maintain, and even repair the seasoning, your cookware can last forever. Chemical non-stick coating cannot be repaired, limiting lifespan. Use a little extra oil, butter or shortening for the first few times making aebleskiver pancakes, until you’ve built up the seasoning.

Cast iron is right at home on induction, ceramic, electric and gas cooktops, in your oven, on the grill, even on the campfire.

Do not use the microwave oven. Hand wash. Dry immediately. Rub with a light coat of vegetable oil after every wash.

Cheaply made! The depth of the holes is not enough. The cast iron is extremely rough and of low quality. One side burns when the other just heats up - heat does not distribute evenly. The handle gets burned - so be sure to take it off when using the pan! Too small. Not pleased but stuck with it as we burnt the handle edge that touches the heat. The flipping bamboo tools are nice. I would rather have paid for a quality pan than all the peripherals such as the handle, glove, etc.
