After using it for a month I can say that the stuffing has stayed in place (no clumping up at the edges like I've dealt with in other comforters) and the fabric is very nice and smooth and soft. My daughter picked this out because of the bright colors and she is super happy with it.

I'd throw it in my dorm's washer and dryer, and it would always come clean no problem. I'm not sure where the "microfiber" is on this... The product we received was not that kind of material. Its a bit stiff and not very soft like I expected. The colors match the room perfectly, which is the reason I haven't returned it; its not used very often. The green is very bright so I use the teal side and fold the top like the picture.

Avoid purchasing this item. Mine arrived slightly late, nothing I would have an issue with, even though it was to be a gift.
However, upon opening, I was totally disgusted to find that some sort of liquid had seeped into the zippered bag cover and totally stained the item. I can only guess as to what might have caused the liquid stain..it is not a pleasant guess, and It was totally disgusting, smelly, and awful!!! Then I tried to return thru the seller. They totally refused to refund shipping charges. So I had to contact Amazon, and go thru all of that red tape.All at Christmas time, when I was hoping to save some time. Bottom line..the product is in questionable storage. Consider before bringing it into your home!!! This seller is unreasonable and could have avoided all of this instead of being so pompous.Horrible experience all the way around. Avoid Avoid Avoid!
