Aerolatte’s Milk Frother aerates milk into a thick, rich foamy beverage in a jiff without the need for electricity. Frothed milk is easy to make with very little effort. The frother travels anywhere, is easy for everyone to use, requires no electricity, and is more compact and economical than espresso machines. Easily froth whole milk, skim or goat milk, to hemp milk, almond milk, soy or cashew milk, and other non dairy milk. Simply measure chilled or warmed milk into a mug or glass, submerge the whisk end, and press and hold the power button to create a creamy, silky froth on top, about 30-60 seconds or until desired consistency is achieved. Serve and enjoy. Add flavorings before frothing, if desired. It makes afternoon snack time more fun and is a great addition to specialty coffee accessories to transform fresh-brewed coffee into specialty coffee drinks. This cute handheld milk frother is fun and easy to use; British celebrity chef Nigella Lawson recommends it over steam-driven frothers. Plus, in addition to its most popular use--creating delicate foam for homemade cappuccinos, lattes, or hot chocolates-- the Aerolatte milk frother can be used for other, equally yummy treats. An enclosed recipe sheet offers ideas for fruit "shakes" and coffee frappes that can be made with any kind of cow, goat, sheep, soy or rice milk! Some restaurant chefs even froth milk to foam garnish earthy soups.

The frother is easy to use, with a simple black toggle button to turn it on. Hold the stainless steel head just below foam level to keep froth building. The shape of the steel-toned, satin-finished handle is curved in the right places and flattened on the sides for a comfortable grip. When it's time to replace the batteries, a black ridged cover slides off to reveal the battery chamber. (Its important to use alkaline batteries with the Aerolatte milk frother.)

To clean, turn the frother on and dip the whisk in hot soapy water; rinse well, and turn again briefly to spin dry. Wipe the handle with a damp cloth; do not immerse handle in water. The whisk is not removable from the battery handle. The milk frother measures 8-1/2 by 1-1/2 inches. Two AA alkaline batteries are included, as well as a recipe and instruction sheet. Wonderful little milk frother and blender. Have been using it since November 2023.. It's a workhorse. Won't blend solids but great for powders. Replace the batteries that came with it, and use Duracell batteries and the speed increases by 30%. I use this little sucker to mix my Ka'Chava powder in the morning and at night I mix apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, orange juice, mango juice, tumeric, a little powder, plus milk, black pepper, and a teaspoon of honey, and use the little blender and it comes out perfect with great taste. Afterwards, I just rinse the unit and might use a vegetable brush to get debris out between the little wires. After all these months, it still runs like new.

I used to buy this brand of milk frother. However, last time I was searching for a new one I saw the pretty colored ones of an off brand and got lured in. I purchased one and it lasted all of 5 months. It came apart in my drink. Cheap junk. Now I am back to this brand and model and I am loving it again. It has so much more power and is built so much better I can't imagine why the lure of different colors ever changed my mind. Duh! This one is simply the best at whatever cost.

The Aerolatte Stainless-Steel Deluxe Edition is a very well made frother and comes with an attractive stainless steel stand. I was impressed at how easy this unit is to operate even with the minimal instructions included on the box. Basically, you remove the plastic tab from the back of the unit so that the batteries can make contact. Then you have to clean the unit when you get it by putting some hot soapy water into a tall glass, "frothing" it and then drying it off. At that point it's ready to use.

Operation is just as simple. You will have the best results using a glass that is nice and tall so you can watch the milk rising and stop before you froth too much. Start with less milk than you think you will need because this unit produces more foam than I expected. After you insert the unit, start from the bottom and slowly raise the frother through the milk without going to the top. In just a few moments you will have frothy cream.

Now there are just a few other tips included in the instructions. For coffee drinks such as cappuccino, you have to heat up your milk slightly without boiling it. For milk-shakes, you have to use milk that is cold. And for those who don't want to use milk, they make a point of saying that you can use this with just about any liquid, including soy milk. The included recipes are a very helpful start for a device I only thought about using for coffee drinks. There are more uses for this than I anticipated.

One thing that is hard to notice is that the unit moves much more slowly when fully submerged than when it is lifted toward the top of your liquid. It feels very well built, but just operates a little sluggishly when fully submerged. So if you just need a little foam, pull this about half-way through the liquid so it can incorporate air a little faster.

The main drawback to this product is that it is expensive compared to what it is. Aerolatte makes a lot of other models, including the Aerolatte Original which shares the same 5 year warrantee. Others like the Aerolatte Satin with Travel Case that are more geared towards portable use come with a shorter two year warrantee. I haven't tried any of the other models yet, but they appear to be very similar other than their warrantees and materials.

CONCLUSION

Even though this is a luxury, it is worth it. This product simply works as advertised and will be getting more use in my house than I thought it would.

Overheated and Created A Burn Hazard

I had purchased another milk frother last April and was disappointed when it stopped working last week (June), so I went searching for a new brand. Aerolatte was the brand everyone involved in coffee seemed to recommend, so I ordered one and was excited when it arrived because I had become really attached to my frothy almond milk.

The directions were really straightforward. Take the plastic bit out and turn the frother on. My Aerolatte arrived with batteries that were already dead (I did noticed the batteries were Aerolatte branded, which I found interesting), so I simply replaced them with new Amazon brand batteries straight from the box.

I whipped up my almond milk with the two tablespoons of Super Coffee creamer and added in my coffee. I washed the Aerolatte in warm water by whipping water and soap in a small cup and then rinsed by whipping up clean hot water in the same cup. I went about my morning until I was ready for my second cup of coffee about an hour later.

I had placed the Aerolatte to dry on my counter and when I went to grab it to whip up another batch of almond milk I did not expect it to be burning hot. It was indeed burning hot. If I had not had a second cup of coffee that morning I would have ended up with a hole in my countertop. The Aerolatte had overheated to the point where it was so hot if I had not dropped it I would have been burned.

I grabbed my grilling gloves, took off the top and took out the batteries and put the whole thing on the stove top to cool.

Once the Aerolatte was cool, I took a new set of batteries (Duracell) and put them in and turned the Aerolatte on for about 20 seconds, or the length of time I whip my almond milk. I turned it off and then turned it back on for another 20 seconds, or the length of time I whip the hot water to clean it. Then I placed it on the stove top and waited for ten minutes. Sure enough, it started to heat up.

Looking at all the positive reviews, I most likely received a bad frother, but also, I received a burn hazard and that is just not cool.

Mir wurde gerade angezeigt, dass ich diesen Milchaufschämer im Januar 2016 gekauft habe. Er funktioniert somit schon seit über 8 Jahren!!! und ist tagtäglich im Einsatz. Dieser Stab hat schon meherere Reisen überstanden und funktioniert immer noch tadellos. Ja, er ist etwas teurer als der 0815 Stab, aber er ist sein Geld definitiv wert und in dem schönen Edelstahlständer gut aufgehoben. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
