What starts as harmless "stress-relief" develops into so much more.
Voyeurism/Exhibitionism, romantic gestures, passionate sex, and a high stakes murder trial kept me reading long past my bedtime. I am definitely glad I bought this book, and look forward to rereading it in the future.
This book is an excellent read written by a talented and gifted writer.
The story started off with a naughty "bang" that made me think "well okay then!" but the gambit worked, and I was sucked into this world where a woman throws caution to the wind to masturbate for a stranger and then feels awkward about it. I don't generally seek out the contemporary type when I read romance, but I did find myself immersed in this one. I enjoyed the tension of the two lovers being on opposite sides of the non-romantic story problem and not knowing exactly who their opposition was. I waited eagerly to see how they would react when they found out (and I knew they would), but I didn't see the end coming until it was almost upon me. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised because I expected a more straightforward scene and the twist that actually occurs was a good one.
As a reader who thoroughly enjoys surprises and those small touches that really get you but aren't something you want overdone, I have to say that Ms. Nichole sure knows how to deliver the good stuff.
