Good read. Dr. Winters utilizes his vast comprehension of anthropolgy and liguistics to demonstrate the link between empires on the continent of Africa and the peoples presence in the Americas. If you are curious about the Ancient peoples; then I recommend you read his work.

Another perfect companion to both Dr. Van Sertima's and Dr. Imhotep's boooks on the same subject. We don't have to spend the money to see structures in other countries. We are on a treasure trove right here and are nearly blind to it, ignoring our indigenous heritage. These scholars are heroes of mine for a reason.

there has always been so much information and research available that shows europeans and native americans, to be late comers behind africans, exploring and settling the new world. unfortunately, racisim has and continues, to prevent such scholarship to be available mainstream. in this well researched book, the author provides historical, genetic, linguistic, cultural, archaeological evidence, to prove the anteriority of africans in ancient america. afriocans were the first humans, and the first on every continent, and the inventors of all civilizations, because there were no other people. when others were "formed", civilization had already been jump started by the original huermans or africans.

though the book has some editing issues, the research is lite years away from the boring feel good psuedo researched, history, archeology, paleontology, and egyptology studies the we were all gaging on throughout our college years. dr winters brings a new paradigm to the study of the world. yeessssss everyone will not agreed with his findings, however the criticisms just don't make sense. such as a racist black man stealing native american culture!!! this is ridiculous because they themselves reportedly also come from asia. i don't remember hearing any one back then talk about theft, and did they steal asian culture to survive? how come most of the early pictures taken , show them as an extremely dark skinned people with highly coiled hair in many instances? It would stand to reason that if africans were the first peeps on the planet and at some time in history when the continents were one that man would be as curious and as pioneering as any other cultures that followed.
