The book explains that most of these animals are close to extinction and that if that happens nobody will be able to see these marvelous creations in their natural habitats ever again--only in zoos.
This would make a great present to give a child at any time of the year and is sure to give them hours of entertainment and get those minds thinking and asking questions which can lead to further exploration!! This is the second book I have read and reviewed in this series -it is every bit as good as the first and I highly suggest you get it for your child or a child close to your heart or even as a gift to a school's library or your child's teacher!!
A brilliant and wonderful way to get children learning and keep them entertained at the same time.
Angelic Airlines is such a clever idea and combined with Captain Frankie takes the reader on a fabulous adventure throughout the pages. Explore Africa and the Big Five Wild Animals, appreciate the beauty of these creatures and understand we have to save our wildlife.
My summer babe and I both loved, enjoyed reading this book. It is our second book that we both read from the author Ms.Anna Othitis. I let my summer babe read first and see what does she think of the book. I also read it after she finished reading the book.
She loves animals. There is no doubt that she will LOVED reading this story too. It gives her more information about the five wild animals mentioned in this book like elephant, lion, rhinos, buffalo and leopards. Captain Frankie is a very helpful pilot. Elia is the best tour guide while Angelic Airlines is the best airplane ever. You will learn so many amazing facts while reading this book. The best part is the question at the end of each chapters. It is like a homework in school.
My summer babe and I highly recommends this book. If you love to fly and animals, this book is a must to read and enjoy your adventures with Africa's Five Wild Animals.
The best safari adventures ever and looking forward for more of Captain Frankie's next adventure. We have not been to Africa but it is still in our families top of the bucket list.
I received the ARC of the book to review. All our thoughts and opinions are 100% honestly mine.
In Africa's Big "5" Wildlife Animals, Captain Frankie from Angelic Airlines takes the children to see wildlife in Africa. He has a friend on the ground this time to help show them the animals. Each section has a blurb about the animal, then interesting information (did you know that an elephant's tusks are teeth?), and questions at the end about what they just learned.
Anna Othitis has done a great job once again with Africa's Big "5" Wildlife Animals. Not only does it teach children about Africa's animals, but they'll enjoy learning and will probably want to read it over and over.
The book provides questions at the end of each section to review the facts which are shared. It also discusses that most of the species featured are facing extinction, and what that really means.
This is a wonderful book for teaching children about some amazing animals. The pictures are gorgeous, and the text is easy to read. I'm sure that my grandchildren are going to enjoy this book.
**I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.**
That said, this book is a great present to any child. In it, we are on an imaginary voyage across Africa to meet the big five wild animals. And the author of the book, Anna Othitis, was raised in Zimbabwe, so her first-hand experience comes across clearly.
The descriptions of the animals and their habits are also accompanied by beautiful photos of them, a map and flag showing where they are from. There are even questions after each one for an even better learning experience for the little ones, and even the parents.
"Africa's Big Five Wild Animals" is a continuation of the Captain Frankie travel books, and it makes a great companion to the others in the series.
