Excellent read so far. Ooo, the lies that we've learned in school. This book will make you ask questions and research further. The truth has been hidden and it is definitely out there. RESEARCH, but definitely give this book a read. The print is small, but because it's a small book, it could be a quick read, but if you research as you go, it will be a guide. Here's to peace and truth.

I recommend every melanated person who still celebrates "American" holidays read this book. It's important to understand the origin of these holidays and why it's detrimental to us as a people to continue with this farce.

This book offers a different look at traditional American holidays and their origin. The book was informal to me . There were some small bits that I learned that I did not know. Overall I would recommend. This was not a required reading for school.

I enjoyed reading this book. I will buy book 2 to complete the series. This book pairs well with 'THE LIES MY TEACHER TOLD ME'.

Some really great historical data. Disappointed in the bigotry and homophobia expressed in the pages. Author could have made his point without them.

For many people they will see the good Dr. as a racist; he is far from that. Read the words and understand the knowledge within the book, I wish i can get with someone about the typo's within but i have overlooked that. This is African history for all today complete with footnotes and references for YOU to check out if for some strange reason you don't believe it. As KRS-One used to say "African History is the WORLD's HISTORY! THIS IS THE MISSING LINK AND MYSTERY!"

I have mix reviews about this book and its following. First of all, the title of the book is; Afrikan People and European Holidays: A Mental Genocide. Also, the book cover illustrates a lot of holidays illustrations. In volume 1 and in book two, the author only covered Thanks Giving, Christmas and the 4th of July! What about the other holidays illustrated in the book cover, like Halloween, valentines day, easter? To add to the review, the way the author writes he seems to think that we black ppl are the original black Israelites. (I would like to say to the brothers and sister lost out there with him, there has never been a man named Jesus, of any race who walked this earth). Other than that, if you can filter out all of what I mentioned while reading this book (volume 1 & book two), it is still interesting. You will not learn much about the origin of European holidays, but you will learn a lot about history.
