I'm more excited about this product than is cool to admit. Cyclists who wear regular earbuds annoy me the same way as the (many, many) sociopathic adults who stumble around my famously crowded/fast city staring down at their phones -- at least as likely to inconvenience or imperil someone else as they are to hurt themselves. So I self-righteously bike commute w/ ears open. (I also have kids for whom I try to stay alive). I tell myself the mental down time is important and productive, but 95% of the time I just wind up mindlessly humming/mentally chanting some pop earworm a passing car infected me with, especially when I'm just grinding along the flat, headwind-y and carless path that's 80% of my commute. Gifted myself these, and now I can mindlessly grind along to my own (impeccably curated) pop earworms AND continue to deplore everyone else in my city b/c these really work -- you can hear your tunes quite well, as well as traffic and ambient sound and MAMILs yelling "on your left!" Obviously it's not audiophile quality music but I'm genuinely astonished how well it works, considering the price. Solid build quality (so far) and decent battery life; the battery weight is negligible and doesn't interfere so I see little reason for the wireless ones. Wind noise raises the ambient background obviously but doesn't directly interfere with the music the way it would seeping in/around a badly fitting regular headphone. The music just seems to come from inside your head. So cool.
My one gripe: either the band connecting the two cheek-phones or whatever one would call them ought to have some adjustability like any over-the-head set of phones (or better, a bike helmet-style ratcheting band) or the little struts that come over the ears to hold
the 'speaker' pods should swing a bit on a pivot (again, maybe just click in 2-3 places). Or perhaps the semi-rigid plastic holding it all together needs a little more elasticity. The quality of the sound varies a huge amount depending on exactly where the pods rest and I'm sure every face has a different "sweet spot" relative to the ears. I can put these on placed for optimal sound no problem -- surprisingly not much interference w glasses, cycling cap or helmet straps or rear retention band, standing up. But once on the bike if I get down on the drops (semi-aero, nothing drastic), or look back over my shoulder, the whole set shifts as a unit and the pods tug back to rest on, and partly close, the little cartilage flaps in front of the ear canals. This both muddies the sound and blocks most ambient noise. Maybe if I wore these under the helmet straps they'd stay put better, but (a) nothing goes under helmet straps, This is Known and (b) I do want to be able to rip them off quick if need be, since there's no in-line remote & sometimes you do need to hear stuff 100% unimpeded, like the demands of an armed mugger. I seem to just have too much head between the back of my neck where these 'anchor' when leaning forward and my cheekbones. YMMV but some basic adjustability, or a bit of stretch (hard w/ wired headsets I know) would likely solve the problem. Still, these are so nice to have on a long or repetitive ride and so reasonably priced I'm only dinging them one star for the fit issue.

Bought a blue one off of the website for the Honey coupon codes, so just trust this isn't some rando shill comment-Sound quality was something that didn't smell right with the whole "blasting sound through your skull" selling point, but using the headphones you'd have to really care to look for any sound distortion, pleasantly surprised-Thought battery life would be an issue, really isn't a stress at all, and honestly worth the trouble when you get used to the awareness that the open ear design allows-The bone conduction is effective, putting earplugs in and using around loud machinery is 5x more viable than overear headphones, still bleeds sound like crazy >75% volume in a quiet setting-within the realm of practical use covers all bases; blasting gojira full volume is going to bleed whatever headphones you use, and the 75% volume threshold really isn't a bother in a study hall-to shill too hard for the comfort factor of the headphones would seem disingenuous, just because there's plenty of difference in skull shape from person to person, personally, if you're not a horrible misshapen western European bloke there shouldn't be any problem and you'll forget the thing is on your head entirely-The mic isn't anything special, don't expect anything more than upper-middle Chinese earphone quality, still perfectly serviceable quality to call on-Overall build quality is exceptional, the cords don't tangle, and the product for the most part feels premium-Warranty process is a little picky, but if you screw up enormously it's not too hard to acquire a replacement if you pick your words. Enthusiastic, helpful customer service-On that note try to make sure the battery pack can't be snagged when using the headphones in a dynamic environment, they're solid headphones, but still very much American consumer grade electronics- The battery pack is close enough to the 3.5mm jack to where it doesn't sit right on an Xbox controller, otherwise beats cheap Astros on the grounds of not having a sweaty headband, still having perfectly good directional sound, and not making you look autistic. The mic is perfectly serviceable to bear witness to any SnD lobby you frequent.- The product itself is made in China, is otherwise America 100%10/10 worth it - 3 months use, no problems
