This book was a slightly different take on the Boss/employee trope and I really enjoyed it. I loved having an author as one of the MC's and Hamish is a wonderful, surly bear of a Scotsman. He's also a Dom and I really liked the addition of the kink environment that overlapped his home and work. Archie is a spirited young man - confident in both his work as a PA and as a Sub in the kink community. I loved how he went after what he wanted - without losing his submissive side. Blake and Corey, the other two parts of the ABC triplets, are both very interesting characters and I look forward to their stories in future books. While this was a bit of a different style to her other books, Colette was able to infuse it with her typical blend of great words, excellent world building and engaging characters, and I thoroughly enjoyed ever moment of reading it. Two big thumbs up!

Ms Davison has astonished me with her incredibly real and loveable characters. The ABC triplets are as real as the twins and triplets that I've known over my life and their Dom's are just as realistic. The pacing stayed at a steady clip throughout the book in spite of the numerous "walks through the woods" that Archie and Hamish take. 😉

Now, all I want to do is go read B IS FOR BEG. I'm predicting another long and enjoyable night! 🤗

Archie and Hamish are loveable main characters, i liked the slip of Scottish that came through sometimes when Hamish spoke and overall I think the story worked. I felt though that the kink side of things was lacking in depth, the actual scenes themselves felt rushed, like the author couldn't wait to get to the books namesake; Aftercare. Overall a decent read though and definitely a series i'll continue with.
