Editorial Reviews

Review

"A remarkably original non-fiction entrepreneurship guide--this book did not disappoint!"

"Throughout, the book delivers sharp, philosophically delivered one-liners, such as: "If it's lonely at the top, it's downright solitary confinement when you're at the bottom," and aptly titled, the book then delves into this age's entrepreneur; The Metapreneur. "

"A uniquely informative read, with a plethora and wealth of information, on everything from how the economy operates, to the past--to changes of the future, this is a highly recommended piece of reading, for anybody looking to venture into real entrepreneurship! He discusses in great length the dangers, the pluses, the fundamentals, and offers a very original look into the complicated, and corrupted at times, practice(s) with so many creative AND educational themes. "

"It is an eye-opening tale that paints a picture of how drastic the changes are in today's economy, particularly with a shift in the last 10-15 years. Not at all redundant, predictable, or cliché this is truly, truly an excellent penning, with so much laid out before your eyes, in a comprehensive and clear manner. An absolute recommendation, and easy five-star read!"

5.0 out of 5 stars A candid journey of entrepreneurship excellently written by an author who has lived in the trenches with many memorable stories
By Amazon Customer on April 29, 2017
One of the best books on entrepreneurship I have read with a style reminisce of Malcolm Gladwell, CJ Cornell takes readers through the Western Front of France during WWII to the islands of the South Pacific, and into more familiar places – like Starbucks and their expansion into India. The author lifts the curtains on what entrepreneurship really is, and from this candid collection of lessons, observations, and tools I was able to see business through a different lens – one that does not fit nicely into formulas and recipes for success, but rather a series of memorable lessons told with the humor and simplicity which make them practical to remember and implement. Regardless of if you are considering launching a business, working for a startup or currently are employed by a tried-and-tested company, this book is filled with lessons on the fabric of sound business.
