In Aggressive Inline you'll experience the speed and craziness of the inline skating world! Interact with characters you see in the levels to learn new tricks
Aggressive Inline offers intense action for all your skitching, pole grabbing, vaulting, and other tricks. The game features nine huge levels offering tons of rails, ramps, pipes, and surprises. It also includes 30 to 60 objectives and 10 to 15 cinematic events per level. Environments are dynamic and deeply interactive. For example, if you skate off the Atlas statue, the massive globe rolls into the street and smashes into two buses that then form a half-pipe. The integrated park editor lives within main game levels and allows players to build terrain in order to accomplish objectives. Over-the-top tricks include hand grinds, six types of manuals, grind transitions, double leg grinds, assorted air tricks, wall taps, stalls, wall flips, and hand plants. Aggressive Inline also features insane, lightning-quick, split-screen multiplayer games.
Top customer reviews
The controls of Aggressive Inline will be a little hard if you haven't played Dave Mirra or Tony Hawk. The A Button is used for ollieing (jumping for the skating impared), B button is for grabs, X Button is for modifying, Y button is used for grinding, L and R are used for rotations, and the Z button is used for the cess slide, similar to the revert in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. The Z button is pretty far away from the R button, because I find it discomfarting to keep taking my index finger off the R trigger to press the stiff Z button. But, after a while, it becomes second nature. To conclude, Aggressive Inline is grinding it's way on to shelves August 6th, 2002, and you should pick this title right away. Expletives aside, let me tell you what AI does so well. It has 9 levels, each one being incredibly huge with 20 or so objectives when open them up. Then, you can find a key to open the rest of the level. So the levels which are already twice the size of Tony Hawk 3's, become 3X the size of the Hawk's! Now sure, big levels doesn't always mean big fun? Well here we have RPG like stat building, EXTREMELY well designed levels and great control. The gameplay side of this game is insanely strong! Graphically the game moves swiftly and while not incredible it is VERY solid. Soundwise, funny voices and a mixed bag of crappy or AMAZINGLY GOOD songs make up the soundtrack. Pharcyde, Boyhitscar and Hoobastank make it worthwhile.
If you 20+ hours easy of gameplay thats fun, entertaining and as good as it gets, buy this game....NOW
And it has a track editor!
The control is a bit off, and things move very fast. Otherwise, the worlds you skate in are intuitive long, and worth exploring. This is the game for bladers, and even non bladers to get.
