Works well, but leaves a really sharp cut end.
The numbers: The cutter is 1/4" in, so that means that there's a 1/4" of cut end exposed. This is razor sharp and needs to bent in with pliers or taped down. The gripping teeth are 5/8" in, so there's not much waste - that's only 5/8" used by the tool to grip and pull.It grips well and cuts cleanly. I've used it three dozen times so far or various stainless ties and it works perfectly every time.The handles are wide and fit my hand well and are obviously glued in place - that's a good thing. The handles won't be coming off (yes, that's happened on many tools I have owned.) The tool handles and frame are 1/8" thick stamped steel.To complaints except the long cut end that needs to be bent in manually.Photos: Wire bundle from two angles. Photo #3, I pulled the wires out. The outside ones did not budge, but I was able to pull out the center wires. No surprise there.
