The design of the gun is nice and it had a long cord. The sensor though is small and barely works.
I tried using it on multiple screens and it never works properly.
I bought a 3rd party longer sensor and it worked a little better but not enough to enjoy game play.
The aim is all over the place. I wish I had gotten my money back.

I bought mine on eBay, but its the same brand.
I had the aiming problems stated in the other reviews when I first got it and I thought the gun was junk. I discovered that in fact the *sensor bar* that comes with the gun is indeed total junk, and that's unfortunate because it gives a lot of people a bad first impression of the gun. I think the sensor bar it comes with expects you to be using something like a 27" tube tv standing 4 feet away, but today where everyone has a giant flat screen that just doesn't cut it.
I bought a couple of other sensor bars on Amazon (can't remember which, 10-15$ range) and had the same poor results: Took forever to calibrate, and the aim still barely worked. I finally splurged on the $24 "Super IR Sensor bar" from ArcadeGuns.com and the gun started to work decently: I got "reasonable" performance from my 58" tv: I could stand about 7 feet away, and I marked duct tape on the floor to figure out where I needed to stand. I typically had to calibrate the gun each time I wanted to play a game. Off screen reloading does not work. If the crosshairs ever got too far off screen, it would take a few minutes to get it to register on screen again. All that, but the gun was at least usable.
I lost the sensor bar in a move, and I replaced it with the even more expensive $36 "Extreme IR Bar" from t-molding.com. That is the sensor bar you need. I only needed to calibrate the gun once when I first hooked up the sensor bar. I can stand however far away I want from the tv, and if the crosshairs get off screen, they come right back as soon as I aim at the screen again. Off screen reload still does not work, which I think is a (well known?) issue with the gun itself.
5 stars because even with its faults and the extra time and money spent on sensor bars, you cannot beat the experience of playing CarnEvil, House of the Dead, and Duck Hunt in the comfort of your home.
If you are using a large flat screen, 40"+ get the extreme IR bar. You will not regret it.

I wanted to use with a mame build, however the lag was so huge the games don't work. It is more like using a mouse than the light guns they were built for. So for example Police Trainer technically did work, but was unplayable because of the lag. Sorry to be negative as I appreciate the company trying to fill the niche of shooting games built for CRTs on LCDs. But other than very slow paced kids' games, this has no value and was a lot of wasted setup time.
