Wow this book packed a bunch of stuff in it and it was amazing to be able to have Charlotte or as we mostly know her as Charley's story.
In previous books we have seen how Tyler has had his eye on Charley but she was not having anything to do with him. Well, we find out in this book why. It is something that is buried deep and that no one knows about.
While she is like her siblings and never backs down from a challenge she gets hurt on the challenge that Tyler gives her one day and it about kills Tyler that she got hurt. He vowed that he was going to take care of her and get her to fall for him in the process.
Lets just say he had a mountain to climb and it was amazing to watch Charley fall in love. I hope she changes her mind about babies and let's Tyler be a father because he would make a great one.
Some of my prediction or hope from the last blog about Max has happened. Chloe came to him the night of Hunter's wedding telling him she can't do it and that she has signed over full custody to him. He was pissed and devastated. He didn't think he would be able to do it by himself and Cayden needed his mom, but his family assured him he was not alone and they were there to help him. I was hoping that would happen. He needs someone who will love him and his son. I know he will get that one day with Marie writing the stories.
Hunter and Megan's wedding seemed awesome. I could picture myself there. It was a joyous occasion. I saw in this book the making of another book ahead I hope. Grayson and Emma. I really hope he can get her to move up there. We shall see.
The two match-makers are busy going over who all they can fix up next. It is cute the way they are involved. I look forward to the next one. I am sad to say that I will have to wait along with you all for the next book to be released. I really hope these blogs have encourage some of you to pick up the series. They are a really good escape.
Until next time: Happy Reading.
Charlotte (Charley) was hurt deeply while in college and choose to remain relationship free, that was until Tyler Westcott threw down the challenge. Charley was never one to turn down a good challenge.
Tyler Westcott has wanted Charley Abbott for as long as he can remember. Every time he asked her out she would turned him down. Both are in the same running club and Tyler challenges Charley to a run up an icy mountain. This run ends up in a nasty fall for Charley down a ravine.
After injuring her knee in a fall on their run, Charley has a long road to recovery ahead of her. Tyler feels guilty for the fall she took and Tyler makes arrangements for her to recover at his one story home. While Charley agrees, she still rebuffs his advances when he makes his feelings known. Tyler is extremely tenacious and he is not going to give up on the woman that has turned his head for so long. Will he be able to wear her down and get her to see that he's worth letting down her walls? Or, is Charley going to stick to her guns and continue guarding her heart with everything she's got. Marie again blew me away. Love this series as much as Gansett series. Please keep the stories coming.
