My son is also a USAF retired intelligence/linguistic. He comes from a long line of military background, Civil War (my grandmother’s relation), 2 great uncles retired WWII US Navy, & USAF, my father & I (HS ROTC) are retired US Army. My Foster dad was WWII Army Air Corps.
Yep he had to take lots of tests & get Government clearances.
You should be honored, & not cry because of your race. All minorities are under-represented in all elite colleges, sports, military, or business. Not every 1 can be a civilian/fighter piolet.
You do have to be intelligent (GPA, SAT, ACT, AFOQT). You think that might be an issue, not the race cards you’re constantly playing.
My DI’s were African American’s & Puerto Rican’s; you think they liked all of us Guinea Whops who were being sent straight to Hell (Vietnam).
Gosh my CO was White.
All branches of military are racist. Get over it.
Didn’t bother me any. I love all races Spear Chuckers, Micks, Rag Heads, Beaner’s Gooks, Chinks, Kypes, Krauts & even your race.
Wasn’t he a dandy General Colin Powell. He just padded his time after he retired from the military.
That is not chump change “Lieutenant Colonel.”
Tuskegee Airmen they never ever got the respect they deserved.
But what about the Coloreds who served in the Revolutionary War & for both the Union/Confederate Army’s.
I grew up in the 50-60’s. I lived in 13 different states, Mexico & Canada & attended about 27 different schools.
You want to discuss what UR PPL dealt with & what I saw all the time.
Outstanding amount of information I was not aware of.
But you should have had someone proof read this.
& you seriously skipped around a lot. & you might wanna brush up on your English 102 writing skills.
I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one. All thoughts & opinions are entirely my own.
A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A fairly well written book on the United States Air Force African American piolet training. It wasn’t very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish, but never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, but several repetitive statements, & no out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique military characters to keep track of. This could also make another great biographical military movie, or a mini TV series. I can only give this book 3/5 stars.
