My son crashes this airplane into everything (concrete patio, house, trees) and it never breaks. The charger and battery operated parts are lame....you have to hold the charger to the plane for over a minute. The propeller then spins but doesn't really make it fly. And there's no on-off. But, just throwing the plane without the charging features works great. I would give it a 5 if they just left out the charging/"power" all together.

I bought three of them for the kids for Christmas. Would have been a better idea to tie a couple of feathers to an egg carton and try to fly that.

Don't bother buying these. And don't believe the Youtube video showing the things flying for two minutes or whatever. Must have been a fake.

My kids each got one of these for Christmas and within 30 minutes of opening the boxes, both were broken, much to the dismay of my kids and the aunt and uncle who had purchased the gliders. I had a previous good impression of the Air Hogs brand, so these gliders were a real disappointment. Here is a high point and some low points . . .

The one pro: when the gliders work they way they're supposed to, it's pretty cool how they fly on their own.

The cons:
1. The gliders are made out of polystyrene. This is great for gliding on air, it's nice and light, but not exactly great for withstanding frequent crashes. Both gliders snapped clean in half right behind the wings.
2. The charger takes 90 seconds to charge the glider. Not a super long time for an adult, but that's just about forever for a kid. And then, the flight lasts about 10 seconds if you're lucky. Doesn't really seem fair that the flight is so short for the amount of charge.
3. The glider has no on/off switch, so as soon as you pull it off the charger, the prop is automatically spinning and you have to be ready to go RIGHT THEN. Or you start losing the charge you just waited so long for.
4. I would say only one out of five flights is good and that still doesn't mean that it's going to land safely.

Overall, it's a great idea for a glider, but the execution is very poor. The glider needs to be constructed of a stronger material, but for something light enough to glide and strong enough to crash, the price would probably go way up, so that's just not practical. If you want a glider to play with, just get one that you launch by hand, you'll be a lot happier in the long run.
