The Airlink 300N Wireless USB Adapter was a nice purchase. It works very well. It comes in a sealed Airlink retail package.

It has the highest wireless data rate of up to 300Mbps with IEEE 802.11n standard. The enhanced security encryption provides full protection for your wireless connection.

It is great for environments with the need for higher wireless data traffic. It is fully backward compatible with 802.11b/g.

The drivers, manuals and instructions are downloadable from the Airlink website. It is nice that a manufacturer makes those things easily available and as a resource online.

This is a very nice wireless USB adapter. I recommend the Airlink 300N Wireless USB Adapter. It is very small and compact. It works very well. And, it is at a good price on Amazon.

Good instructions make setup easy. Does the job flawlessly. The unit is very low profile and fits snug against the computer, but ironically this can be a problem if your USB ports are very close together because other plugs will push up against this unit. Slimmer and longer might fit better, but no big deal. Works perfectly with Macbook.

Bought this because I wanted to upgrade the 801.11G Wi-Fi in my 7 year old Toshiba laptop to 801.11N and because it's inexpensive.
I still own two Airlink products,a G and a 300MPS router but are not using them right now. Airlink products have always worked well for
me and so does this one. Amazing how much technology can be stuffed in such a small package. My Toshiba now streams as fast as my newer Fujitsu laptop with N Wi-Fi. Only thing I can think of is maybe the range might not be great as built in Wi-Fi because of antenna limitations.
Highly recommended!

I installed this in my Windows 8 32-bit tablet. It works fine and is stronger than the internal unit

I did have a little trouble with the driver; I ended up uninstalling the adapter (without removing the driver), and then unplugging it and plugging it back in. Windows finally used what it wanted which was the right new driver that I was trying to install.

The Airlink utility works great.

Bought this for a Dell desktop computer I had in the basement; I'm running linux Ubuntu on it. My firefox browser was slower than heck when it would work and software upgrades plus downloads would crash. I took the computer upstairs and plugged it directly into my router - ran like a champ. Pulled out the Airlink device and plugged a wireless card into a PCI express slot and everything is great! (should mention my signal strength with the Airlink device looked fine: 3 out of 4 bars)

I don't know if this device doesn't get along with Ubuntu or what.
