They are a little small, but perfect size for storing snacks, or large bags of nuts. They are EXTREMELY sturdy! They've been through the dishwasher multiple times and today I dropped the lid from a 4 ft shelf and it did not even chip! I'm impressed! The opening is plenty wide enough for a scoop too.
