For me, art is about color and self-expression. It's personal. That's why I draw so many coloring pages by hand, with a pen and paper.
I also believe that art should be within the reach of everyone. That's why many of my coloring books have bold lines and easy-to-color spaces.
I grew up in the 1960s. (My photo, above, is from 1977.) In many ways, I'm still a hippie. You'll see that influence in most of my art. It's why my books aren't filled with clipart, and they aren't cookie-cutter copies of others' designs.
I was the first to regularly publish coloring books in formats for left-handed people. My "bold and easy" coloring books were the first designed for adults with visual and physical challenges.
If you're looking for something different, let me know. I believe everyone should have ways to express themselves with art. You can find me at Aisling.net and I'm a member of ColoringGroup.com.
