- Not as great as making dashi from scratch using bonito flakes (katsuobushi) and kombu, but this powder comes in handy and saves time
- Flexibility: Rather than large sachets, dashi powder stores well and allows you make as much or as little broth in one sitting as you please

- On the expensive side for such a small bottle (2.11 oz)
