Does not really tell the story, it's through the lens of her mother. Didn't care for it and wouldn't recommend.

It is an amazing story if you are a believer. As a sceptic it is hard. to digest. As an art critic, I have to admit that the child has for her age and being an untrained young artist an astounding talent, even considering that her romantic realism is out of time and not equal to acknowledged artwork in any period of art history, although , I can not totally judge this, since the reproductions were in black and white. She probably will be regarded together with her story and poetry as a unique child phenomenon. I wish Akiane great luck for her future.

This is a very talented and mysterious artist.
The poetry is not to my liking though. Too much like Bob Dylan lyrics. (Interesting construction, but seemingly meaningless).
Finished the book still wondering what the author really knows or believes in. (Comes across a bit new age).

I am inspired by this young woman, her faith and her connection to God, but I paid $9.99 for the kindle version of this book and was hoping for more than 40 minutes of reading material.

I was disappointed in the Kindle version of this book since there seem to be many pictures of Akiane's artwork and the Kindle didn't do it justice. I also felt the book wasn't well written. I would like to have read more about the subject, about 50% of the book is her poetry and artwork.

Akiane is unusually talented but I didn't like the book. It might have been better if it were told by Akiane herself and not her mother's perspective. The poems were confusing. The paintings were incredible, especially the ones of Jesus. The book would not have made me a believer.

The book was described as NEW but clearly was not. One of the pages (5-6) was folded and damaged as a result. This should have been described as USED!
