Out of the box/packaging, this watch would be worth one star. It kept time, that was it, the chronograph didn't work, a lot of the adjustment and settings were not working, and the band was actually poking into my skin causing a lot of irritation.
How I fixed each thing:
-Chronograph not working (specifically the 30 minute totalizer not moving, or moving sporadically). This was a weird weird problem, I spent something close to 2 hours tinkering with everything I could think of. My exact problem was that the second hand on the chronograph would tick and keep time, but the totalizer would not move. Except for when the back was off of the watch, then it would work perfectly fine, so I fixed this by putting the back on rotated the wrong way. I can't for the life of me figure out why that works, but it does.
-Button adjustments not working. My problem was that when I'd pull out the crown to the middle position, both buttons would move the second hand of the chronograph and not the minute hand, I think this was fixed by the same method of the chronograph not functioning at all, simply rotating the back to the wrong direction.
-The band ripping into my skin problem... This one was tricky, it looks like the mesh band wasn't "cut" properly so there were 5-6 links which made very sharp, needle like points which dug into skin very easily and created a lot of little red bumps on my wrist. I fixed this by using a bunch of small files to remove the pointed edges, I realize not everyone will have those just lying around so if you notice this watch has sharp edges, I'd try to get it replaced.Read more ›
One little picky thing, the clasp on the band is quite tricky to maneuver getting the watch on and off. I did it incorrectly at first and had to really study how the thing is attached while not on my wrist. There are no instructions provided on how to work the clasp. I finally figured it out after some trial and error, however that was with TWO hands. It's difficult to do it with just one hand while it's on your wrist, thought, after a bit of practice, I can do it pretty easily now. I've have many watches in my lifetime and this is by far the most complicated to clasp.
I would definitely recommend this watch.
The minute hand is very loose and moves around when I tilt my wrist. Also, the minute hand gets stuck on the hour hand when I try to set it. Too bad because it looks and feels nice.
UPDATE: I returned the broken one and ordered another. The second one arrived in a very different state. It had plastic film on the band and face, as well as a "To start watch, pull tab" label. None of this was on the first watch. It appears I was sent a previously returned or used watch the first time?
UPDATE #2: After wearing the watch a handful of times, the band broke while I was sitting at dinner.

I like the design, but the cronograph doesn't work properly, the minute hand of the cronograph stops at 29 instead of 30, so I have no idea of how to fix it, is there a way to fix... Read morePublished 4 months ago by Oscar Martinez

I don't know what everyone is fussing about. I got mine from groupon 3 years ago, my first watch ever btw, and it's still working perfectly fine. Read morePublished 6 months ago by Aaron Andrews
