I don't know what 3/5 out of these slots are meant for. Maybe really thin earphone cables? I have no idea. All I know is that they're not designed for normal USB charging cables that everybody is expecting to use it for. The two slots on the edges are appropriate, and the unit itself looks very good on my wooden nightstand of the same color. Very low-key, blends in nicely. Unfortunately only 2/5 of the slots are usable, hence 2/5 stars in this review. I didn't buy it just to look good. It should work.

Rough wood

The product is a good size and the slots are good size for regular phone and tablet cords with the outer two slots being large enough for braided cords. My issue is the one I received was very rough. I feel it will lead to cord damage over time. Disappointed as I loved the concept. Seller was contacted and basically he said it is natural wood so it is normal to be rough. Natural wood can be filed smooth is my understanding. I did not test the tape on the back. It is simple 3M tape, not 3M Ultra tape. I will be returning this as I have cords in right size slots but they were expensive and I do not want them repeated in contact with abrasive rough texture of the wood.

Nice little cable organizer. I had a need for vertical and horizontal cable organization. I ended up using this one for vertical cable organization at my desk and another cordies style for horizontal just for quicker "grab access". But overall I am happy with this purchase. The two outer slots are a little larger than the 3 inner so you can get different thicknesses of cables in the thing.

I like the design and the execution but the adhesive seems a bit weak for the size/weight of the unit.

It's OK for smooth surfaces, but if you want to stick it on a painted wall, there may be an issue. It would also be great if this unit had a couple of holes for mounting... or even one through hole...

The slits are of two different sizes. The smaller size slits fit regular phone charging cables, but do not fit higher quality, thicker cables. Those either don't fit at all or a tight squeeze. The larger slits (only two) fit most USB cables. I think all of the slits have to be of the larger size because even if some cables are thinner, the plug heads will always prevent the cables from falling out.

With a modest improvement, this unit would be great.

This works well for organizing between five and 10 cables (you can easily use two in each slot. After putting all the cables in place I put a rubber band across the length of the top. It keeps anything from popping out. I will say that the quality control is not of the highest calibre. Some of the slots are wider than others – and it doesn't seem to be a. deliberate design feature.

The mount comes with everything necessary for installation: a hex key, screws and even a small wrench to make tension adjustments. The two-sided adhesive tape that comes already installed on the base of the unit creates a very secure connection. Be careful as you install – once it's down it can't be moved. If it goes on crooked, it stays crooked.

There is a sad defect

First, the design and the wood piece itself is great. Looks beautiful. But there is a sad major defect. At back of the wood piece there is a trench, and the adhesion piece is sitting inside. Now, imagine the trench is deeper than the thickness of adhesion pad - you will not be able to stick the product to any surface! I have to get another adhesion pad to stick on top of the original one, to make it thick enough. Sad sad defect.

Bought 2 to organize USB cords. Stuck them on, added USB cords. Three days later, one is on the floor, no ability to stick at all. 2nd is still holding on, we'll see, but 50% workability is unacceptable.

A week later found the 2nd one on the floor. Both failed. Don't waste your money.

Not bad, but won't stay stuck

This is not a bad product, but I can't figure out why the middle tines are all too small for most of my cables while the outer two are just right. But the big problem is that the stickem on the back isn't thick enough to properly stick. When I peeled off the backing and tried pressing it against my desk, the stickem didn't actually reach the desk (either the stickem isn't thick enough or they cut the well the stickem is in too deep). I tried using standard 3M double-sided tape, but it doesn't provide enough holding force for a five cables. In the end I used a pick to pucker the stickem on the back so that at least some of it is contacting my desk. It holds for about a week, then I have to do it again.

Exactly what I hoped for

I previously had individual plastic cable holders, but wanted something a little neater, this appears to be that. I managed to stick it in the wrong place first, on the underside of the desk, but thankfully I was able to remove it and reposition within 1/2 hour when I realised that the cables would just fall out of the slots! Doh!! So this new position is perfect!

Like others, the only thing that could make this better is variations. For me, I only regularly use 3 cables that I would choose to have dangling ready all the time, so 2 of the slots are wasted really. Also like others, I'd like the choice of all the same size rather than (or perhaps as well as) the mixed selection. But tbh, the Apple lighting cable doesn't fall out of the widest slot (as long as it's placed sideways) and I don't use cables any smaller than that so this is perfectly adequate.

I was sick of hunting down the cables for my phone and tablets so looked around at solutions. Saw this and had to try it as a very reasonably priced wooden alternative to all of the frankly ugly plastic solutions. I fixed it to the edge of my oak lamp table next to my sofa. It holds both of my cables for my android phone and tablet and the Apple lightning cable for my iPad. Now its really easy to find the right cable and plug it in, no more searching for the fallen cables behind the lamp table/under the sofa which was always a pain. Does exactly what it claims and looks a decent match to my oak table. My wife was impressed, so another one was ordered for her too. Result!

Beautifully made practical cable organiser to buy if money is not an object

Would give 5 stars, however can't justify the price tag to this cable organiser, which is a pity as it's beautifully made and blends well with the other wooden texture furniture (please see attached photos). Famous 3M sticky double sided tape attached to its back - does the job. So if the money is not an object for you then buy it and don't waste your time looking for something else (it doesn't exist - well when I was looking for alternatives at the time..). Otherwise, I believe you can find silicon cable management alternatives slightly cheaper that this one.
Meanwhile a suggestion for a seller: I would like to see the multiple buy (multiple pack) discount. If I'm correct the delivery charges shouldn't be affected as this cable organiser does not weight much.
A tip for product makers: I would like to see this cable organiser version with more slots (longer version), for example: 5pcs 5.0mm slots and 2pcs 7.5mm slots.

Nice Little Product, Only One Improvement

Nicely designed little product. Two outer slots for larger cables, whilst middle three perfectly accommodate phone charging cables.
For the product itself, it seems to be a sturdy enough piece of wood, nicely made/carved. My only gripe, is that the 3M adhesive pad on the rear is not as deep as the back of the product, so it doesn’t feel 100% secure, when you stick it to your furniture (it tends to move when you touch, as there’s excess room for the adhesive pad to compress).
It’s the only downside to the product. Otherwise, it definitely does the job and looks nice.
