Okay, I'm a little biased because I lived in Key West in the 1980s when the events took place. I had met Kevin and his husband Joe, and knew he was a Key West Firefighter, but had not heard about the grim drama unfolding around being a gay firefighter. Alarm In The Firehouse is well-written, the story moves along at a good pace, with plenty of asides about life in Key West back then. Great read, even if you were not around in Conch Town in the '80s.
