I re-ordered this item after having lost the previous sleep mask that I purchased here, and was disappointed to find that they changed the design and also removed the carrying pouch. Initially I thought maybe I ordered the wrong item, despite simply going to my past orders and ordering the same product - but the comments from other people seem to confirm that the design was changed.
The main issue I have with the new design is that it feels much thicker, and makes my forehead/brow feel uncomfortably warm. I imagine this would be even more uncomfortable during the warmer months, or if I vacation somewhere warm with no AC. So I returned the item.
Customer service reached out to me after I wrote the above review, and let me know that the change in design was in order to respond to some people's feedback who found that the previous design was uncomfortable against their eyes due to the elastic pulling on it (personally, I have not found that to be an issue). I was offered a full refund, and given a link where I can purchase the original design. I did, and am very happy to once again have the mask that I loved, as well as the carrying pouch the original came with :) I'm also very happy with the customer service for being so helpful and pointing me to the right direction!
