In sum, if you are worried you will offend the neighbors, your kids, or significant other, I would not pass on this product. From what the experts say fish emulsion is good for your plants, don't let the mild odor deter you.
After using this, many of my plants recovered almost immediately. Although they didn't return to their pre-Epsom Salt health, they stopped dropping leaves, started to return to green, and quickly showed new growth.
To tell the truth, I'm a bit afraid of over-using this like I did with the Epsom Salts and creating a different imbalance, although from what I understand it's more difficult to do so with this kind of product. So I'm using this once a week at half-strength, just to prepare my plants for wintering over. But I'm really happy with the recovery I've seen in my plants since integrating this product into my fertilizing regimen.
Bottom Line: Amazon has sold this product as an add-in item for almost half off anywhere else I can find it. I have never had any issues with shipping or the bottle being damaged on delivery. If you can wait a day or two for fertilizer I cannot think of any reason why you would buy this product anywhere else.
Just shake the bottle and add about 1-2 tablespoons to a watering can and fill with water and apply to plants. (exact instructions and correct ratios to use are all listed on the product packaging.
Just try not to spill it on yourself while using it - because it smells like a fish market!!
