Albedo100 Invisible Bright is a spray with light-reflective properties intended for use on textiles. The spray is invisible in daylight but light-reflective in the dark. The reflective effect is useful for the evening walk, jog or bike ride. Increase the visibility and safety of your self and your children in traffic by spraying your clothes and other textiles such as shoes, a pushchair, rucksack etc. The effect may be limited on shiny synthetic materials (do not spray on leather or suede). Albedo100 Invisible Bright is a spray that reflects light when shone on. The spray gives a fine surface that is invisible in daylight but reflective in the dark. The spray disappears when washed, and does not effect the color or surface of the textile. The spray lasts for approximately a week after application, depending on what surface you spray on, how much you apply and how often the garment is worn. In cases of heavy wearing you should add more spray continuously for full effect, or regularly check the reflective effect.

One thing that it is important to understand is that the coating does not reflect all incident light equally. l It is MUCH more effective when the viewer's line of sight is nearly colinear with the light. That's great for improving visibility to a driver when you are in the headlights of his car but may not make you a lot more visible to somebody down the block when you are illuminated by the streetlight overhead. That may explain some of the confusion about whether or not the spray seems to work. I have attached 4 pictures to this review. Assuming they stay in order the 1st shows a cycling bag I sprayed with the Permanent spray (on the left) and the "invisible" spray on the right. That picture is taken with regular ambient light. The second shows the same bag in the darkened room with a light source right by the camera. The permanent spray is highly reflective, the "invisible" spray is somewhat reflective. The third shows the same bag in the darkened room with a light source about the same distance away but at 45 degree angle to the camera. Neither product did much to enhance visibility in that picture. The 4th shows the same bag using a flash. The permanent spray is MUCH more reflective than the "invisible" spray but both do increase reflectivity of the bag. Now that I've got the spray I'll use it but I'll also look for less expensive options that are a bit less obvious in daylight.
