About the author

I am an award-winning author of more than fifty books living in the wilds of Montana as a Colorado refugee. Because I love confusing people, I go by Margaret H. Bonham with my pet books and M. H. Bonham in my science fiction and fantasy. I train in shotokan and ninjitsu martial arts, I race sled dogs, and podcast. I frequent science fiction conventions, so be sure to check out my blog for places I'll be at.

Plot wise, this is the least straight forward so far. It reads closer to a detective novella where the MC has to put several randomly, possibly unrelated events together in order to "crack the case."
I had to deduct a star for a Major continuity error, and explaining it would be a spoiler so I'll say this: no one should intentionally expose themselves to an instant death for the sake of eating a cupcake... just, no.
The previous book introduced the concept of werewolf telepathy and was the primary of communication between the MC and the wolf-form pack he ran with, so why now is here surprised that he can understand it? A week ago it was as common as taking to him...I really feel like these stories were written independently then strung together haphazardly with major continuity errors... that or they're being listed out of order.
I think the premise of this series has real potential and the writing isn't "bad" but the lack of editing, common sense actions and continuity holes is making this read frustrating and detracting from my enjoyment.
