Editorial Reviews

Review

“This fascinating book operates on the simple, fundamental premise that homosexuality inhabits a social place between public and private, and that, consequently, it serves as a sort of deep structure of knowledge, narrative, and identity. In five compelling and provocative chapters, Schehr works through the ramifications of his theory, uncovering unexpected alliances between and among his subjects, in the process giving us original, challenging, and potentially polemical insights.”—Thomas DiPiero, University of Rochester

This book is in excellent condition most likely because it says ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL on the spine and inside. However I am not bothered by this because it was an excellent price and in excellent condition! Thanks

I thought this might be an interesting read but I was mistaken.
I read about 20 pages, got a headache and ended up giving it to a graduate student whom I thought might be able to handle it. I wished her luck.

I saw this used in a classroom and had to have a copy. It is a great resource to have.
