Dorian J. Sinnott is a writer from the beautiful Hudson Valley, New York. He was born and raised in the small town of Saugerties, known for the Woodstock ’94 Festival and Horse Shows in the Sun (HITS). After graduating high school in 2009, Dorian moved to Boston, MA to attend Emerson College, where he received his Bachelor’s in Arts in Writing, Literature, and Publishing. During his time there, he also spent a semester abroad, living in London, where he studied marketing and literature.

Dorian’s love for writing came far prior to his education, however. He was first published at the age of 12 in Creative Communications (a national journal of student creative writing) with his poem “Brotherly Love” that was written for his younger brother. Since then, Dorian has had a total of over 60 poems and short stories published in literary magazines and journals around the globe. His most notable publications have been featured in Alter Ego (TwoMorrows Publishing), Crab Fat Literary Magazine, Riggwelter Press, and The Hungry Chimera Journal. His short horror story, “The Hunger”, was also recently opted as an audio book through Alban Lake Publishing.

Aside from writing, Dorian is an avid cosplayer and travels to comic cons up and down the east coast weekly. He has competed in numerous competitions and placed Best-in-Show in a Superheroes United cosplay contest in 2017. He also loves English horseback riding, playing violin, and taking care of the cats at his local animal shelter he’s worked for since 2013. Dorian currently lives in historic Kingston, NY with his two feline kids, Hope and Binx.
