(more than I can count) kill my feet. I'm happy, happy, happy.
Pros: Nicely constructed. Quality materials. Somewhat stylish (though a bit blocky). Great heel support. Lots of room for my toes.
Cons: I wish the strap had more give. I have plump feet, and the strap digs in quite painfully. An elasticized piece on the side or the option for adjustment (as simple as a slightly longer strap) would have been nice. The most pressing issue for me was the arch support. I don't know if it's the position of the support or the extent of it, but it digs in painfully into my arch. At the end of the day, I feel like I have a stone bruise on the bottom of my feet. This is not the norm for me either. I own several brands of comfort shoes (Clarks, Hushpuppies, Naturalizers), and none of them have ever put pressure on my arch like the Alegrias do.
UPDATE: I've since had these shoes for a few months, and I have to say that they fit a bit better now. I guess my feet have molded the interior fit. It still leans quite a bit into my arch, but the overall benefit at the end of the day is worth a little bruising. However, I cannot give it five stars because the strap is still an issue. Better now (I've lost weight and apparently my feet have shrunk a bit too), but I know plenty of skinny people with plump feet and just think an elasticized portion at the base of one side would have been a smart move to make.

Very comfortable shoe but can only wear for one day. If wear for two days in a row, then they start to hurt in the toe and heel. Other Alegria's work better for me.Published 2 months ago by Joan Argent
Shoe is nice and I love the style but now I have to return them because they're too small and it's a hassle because I needed them for work and now I have to wait for the whole... Read morePublished 3 months ago by Amazon Customer

I love everything about these shoes except that the strap is too short to actually close over my foot. Read morePublished 9 months ago by WJFS
The size smaller was too small, and this one is a bit large. I think it might be better if I use (find!) heel grips to help keep my feet in securely. Read morePublished 9 months ago by Lisa Steinhardt
