I just saw these guys in concert last night and I had not heard them before. They opened for Against All Authority and Schuicide Machines and I have to say, I think they stole the show!!! Some of the stuff they played was even better than the stuff on this cd and I think they are definatly improving! (I got this cd at the concert for $7, and even if it was more, I don;t have a problem with them being on A-F records. The recording quality is fine and that is all I need (sometimes not even that). I think that it is better that they stay on a small record lable and keep their cds cheap and not sellout!
What that said, I completely forgot how much I love this band until recently. I am excited to buy this CD again and for anyone who likes the popular ska/punk acts of the late 90's early 2000's, I recommend this CD tenfold!
One of my first live shows was The Code opening for Against all Authority and The Suicide Machines (and I believe The River City Rebels too) in Boston, Mass. It is definitely one of the most memorable shows I've ever been to. I wish they hadn't stopped at three albums, but they should feel accomplished for making the kind of music a guy (or girl) can get excited about 8 years after hearing it for the first time.
If you are reading this guys, thanks for the great tunes!
