UPDATE:
My rabbit has figured out he can chew through the material, there goes my thick MacBook cord...this cord cover does not protect cords from a rabbit.

I ordered several different types of protection for various cables and this one was my favorite. It takes a couple of minutes to slip the cord through the split, but once it's on it does the trick and isn't too bulky or inflexible. I highly recommend this sleeve to keep pets from chewing cords.

I don't know why it was so hard for me to find this product, but what's important is that I finally did. It took me 5 minutes to install, and it plays better than I could have imagined with cords of different lengths. You simply wrap the cord protector around each cord, and when one needs to stick out at a different point (other than the start and end), it does. A classy, simple-to-use solution to the ugly mess of cables that comes with every TV!

So I have one of those cats who chew on electrical cords. I can't begin to tell you how many cords she has chewed through--alarm clocks, lamps, and all of the charging cords for our phones. I was pretty sure I'd find her fried one day (much like Aunt Bethany's cat did in the National Lampoon's Christmas vacation movie). I tried the sprays made for chewing and those seemed to make her chew more. I bought braided charging cables for our phones. But I was hoping for ANY kind of help to get her to stop chewing and then I came across these sleeves.

These sleeves are easy to install and can usually wrap around more than one cord at a time, which is helpful for the tv equipment (cable box and dvd player). Just open the sleeve and slide the cords inside. So far, knock on wood, my cat hasn't chewed any cords since I encased everything in these sleeves! Be sure to have scissors available for install, since you can cut these to any length you want. I've purchased this same item twice, to outfit all of the exposed cords I could find!

UPDATE May 2019: I have bought these sleeves twice now and have them on all of my lamps, the tv, and any other exposed cords you can think of. So far, so good! They are working to protect my cords and protect this crazy cat.

The sleeve is as expected, good, soft, and curls tightly. If you are not sure about the size, here it is: I have a cable slightly more than 1/4" in diameter. It's diameter, not radius, not circumference, not flatted tube width (which is half of the circumference). I purchased 1/4" sleeve. I managed to get the cable into the sleeve, and it fits snugly. I conclude that the size means the inner diameter of an empty sleeve.

I have spent a fortune replacing all of the little cords to my kindle, echo dot, and phone chargers. One of my cats cannot be deterred from chewing holes in every cord she can find no matter what. Until now. I put this on one cord to see how it works and found that she isn't as interested in the cord as she was previously. Now I just have to put it on every cord I can find to protect them and her. I will probably need to order another depending on how many I put it on but it will be worth it not having to replace my cords constantly. Not to mention how horrible it would be if she got hurt doing that. Also, cutting through the mesh to fit it to my cord was easy and accomplished with regular scissors. I definitely will buy again.

My daughter adopted two wonderful rescue kittens. However being kittens they liked to play and chew, including phone charging cords, power cords, you name it. while we kitten-proofed the the easy things like lamp power cords by just taping them up and securing them, we could not find an option for some things that needed to lay round like a phone charging cable. this did the trick. However, we did discover that if the cats figure out how to pull the power plug from the back of the automatic cat feeder, they can then slide this off the cord. a simple zip tie over this at the end of the cord solved that. luckily they just played with this after it came off. This is must have if you have chewers in the house!

I used the 1inch to replace the old black loom that was falling apart around the engine.
I used this and some silicone tape to rewrap it.
I used all the stock zip ties/mounting locations from the factory wrap. It was easy to work with and looks better then the old falling apart loom did.
It has only been a few days but i haven't had any problems with melting or becoming distorted.

I would recommend cutting it a couple small parts of this to practice using the lighter on so you can get it right when its show time.

My cat has chewed through about five iPhone, iPad and Apple watch charging cables and, most recently, through the cable on my exercise bike. The Apple watch cable cost me £29 to replace. So, on buying a Robovac recently, I decided to shield its cable with this product. I thought it was a bit fiddly to get the cable into it, but once there it seems quite secure. So far, after three weeks, the cat has made no attempt to bite through this one. So, it's looking good. I'll probably buy some more.

Super 25mm Schlauch, aber auf den Durchmesser achten

Ich habe die 25mm Durchmesser Version genommen, um auf Nummer Sicher zu gehen. Dies war deutlich zu groß. Auf dem Foto sieht man gut, das von dem NAS drei Kabel abgehen, der Schlauch ist dafür deutlich zu groß und so wirkt der Schlauch doch recht wuchtig auf dem weißen Tisch. Auch die DVI Kabel, die recht dick sind, verlieren sich etwas in dem Schlauch. Ich werde mir jetzt die 13mm Version nachbestellen, bin ja selbst Schuld ;-)

Übrigens war der Zuschnitt und die Verlegung wirklich einfach, so habe ich es mir gewünscht.

Nachtrag:
Ich habe jetzt auch die 13mm Version bekommen und direkt verlegt. Optisch deutlich besser und aus meiner Sicht die Erste Wahl für die Kabel vom PC. Wem das zu eng erscheint, der kann noch 19mm nehmen, aber die 25mm sind für den klassischen PC einfach zu viel.

Auf der Suche nach einer Möglichkeit bei meinen E-Bike das nervige geklappert und die einzeln verlegten Kabel ordentlich zu verlegen bin auf diesen Artikel gestoßen. Die Verarbeitung dieses Kabelschlauches ist relativ einfach und unkompliziert in der Anwendung. Das Ergebnis kann sich auf jeden Fall sehen lassen. Ich finde es auf jeden Fall perfekt. Im 6 mm Kabelschlauch lassen sich ohne Probleme eine Brems und eine Schaltleitung unterbringen.

► Positiv:

- Sehr schönes Design
- sehr gute Verarbeitung und Qualität
- einfach in der Anwendung
- sieht super aus

► Negativ:

- relativ teuer gegenüber Spiralschlauch, sieht aber dafür besser aus.

► Fazit:

Endlich sind die vielen losen einzelne Kabel und Schaltzüge aufgeräumt.

Eigentlich eine überaus positive Überraschung, hätte ich so nicht erwartet.

Klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits.
Preis / Leistungsverhältnis hervorragend.

Expensive for what it is. I could have done with more on reflection. Paid pretty much £1 per foot on this stuff, which allowed me to cover approximately 2 cables. Very expensive and pretty fiddly to apply. The instructions reccomend cutting with a hot knife? That's not a common tool to have laying around the home. Scissors work, but it'll fray the cable horribly. Does the job, but there are better and cheaper alternatives out there. Shop around.
