Vanessa inherits a house from her great aunt in the town she used to live in. It used to be an inn and Vanessa helped out during holidays.
She intends to do it up and sell it, returning to the city. Instead her plans go awry as she finds a dead body on her porch.
Still determined to do up the house she finds her mindset changing and instead of thinking of selling straight away, she thinks about staying.
With the help of an old friend, Nate Minosa (who has been in previous Calendar books) and some old school friends she decides to find out who is behind the killing. Can she find out? Read it and then you'll know.
This book also features kittens :-)
As always Camilla writes well, and, even though I guessed who did it, I did not know why which is why this book is good.
Great book, can't wait for the next one.
