I seriously love this series!, August 24, 2015 By Carol
It has been fifteen years since the end of book one when the Sandarian Earth Protectors fled Sandaria for earth. One year ago, the Cavacent family made themselves known to the humans of earth.
A Sandarian spends their lifetime hoping that they will find their psi-mate. And once it happens, there is no stopping it. Torril Anantha is such a man (alien.) You are never quite prepared, though, for when it hits you. And that is exactly what happened to Torril the day he was standing in London's Hyde park.
Kara Heroshi has finally escaped the clutches of her controlling mother. She loves the freedom of living in London. She has vowed to never allow anyone that type of control over her again. As she is sitting on a bench with her friend having lunch on a beautiful day in Hyde Park, it hits her, that overwhelming feeling that cannot be relieved by anyone else than the man with whom the bond has already begun to form. But she doesn't want this, so she runs. Can she really run, though? Once the bond has begun, can she stop it?
"She'd feared oppression, but instead she found freedom."
I love this series, seriously love it. This is a very sexy, very short story giving us a front row seat as to how the psi-bond happens. Whew, and it is hot, and it is awesome! Just to be sitting there on the bench and...well, could we be so lucky???
I can't wait to read book two in this series, Rebellion, and honestly, I look forward to anything else this new up and coming author has to offer.
