This purchase came in and my son started complaining about the DLCs not downloading. I just kept putting off looking into the issue. Once I looked I started researching region codes. This vendor is selling European region games for the US market. The DLCs and online content will only work in the region the game was made. If you want the online content and the game to be played with all the extras this is useless and they do not state that in the details.

This is one of the best made games as well as one of my favorite games ever. The amount of detail and effort put into this game puts it years ahead of many other games of its time. I play a lot of survival horror and have to say this is the most terrifying. I don’t actually like the Alien movie but this game more than makes up for that. I have played Isolation many times and have purchased it for friends and family. The Alien’s AI is really well done and the ambience of the game is extremely on point. It’s not a short game either! It’s quite long and the story really sucks you in. It’s not a Resident Evil type game where it starts off really spooky and then you end the game guns ablaze. It stays true to the genre of SURVIVAL horror and the sci-fi elements make it all the more interesting. Extremely well done, but the sales for the game directed leadership at Sega to not make a proper sequel. I hear there are talks of a true sequel at Disney and am excited for that.

If you are a fan of the Alien franchise, you'll absolutely love this game. Unlike previous titles set in the Alien universe (Colonial Marines) this game is a homage to the first two movies in the series. The atmosphere, setting and music make this one horrifying experience. The only complaints I have against this game is that the gameplay, while servicable, is not exactly groundbreaking in any way and isn't as fun as some of the titles in the Resident Evil series. Also, the game is a tad bit too long, especially in the second act of the game. Other than that, this is an underrated title and a must buy for Alien fans!

Alien isolation is my son's favorite game. The only problem is that if the cover says 18 instead of m for the rating you will not be able to play the dlcs for it. If it says 18 rating then it is for Asia or Europe regions. The game will still play in America but to play the dlcs it (must) say (M rating). Hope this helps someone because they won't let you know.....

Im a fan of the Alien franchise so naturally i had to buy this game but after playing it with my sons it’s actually scary haha and after completing about 4-6 missions the alien comes out and so far we have been destroyed three times by the alien. Super cool haha.. this game makes you think hard and have to remember each step and pay attention to every small detail. Like a puzzle/maze. We love the challenge and suspense..

I haven't finished til the end of this game yet, but I dived in pretty deep and I like this game so far. The way they designed it really makes you feel like your in the aliens movie. Very emersive experience. I will say the alien's in here that pop out of no where and coming after you not counting the psycho androids that come after you definitely will scare you. So has good scare to it. Has good action. If you like the alien movies you will like playing this game. This game will make feel emersed into the game.

I mean that in the best way possible. The atmosphere is intense, and it is a truly terrifying game. It takes things back to the basics of the genre, with a feeling of helplessness when confronted with the Alien, and some truly clever puzzles. The authenticity of the ship you find yourself marooned on is excellent. It's just like the Nostromo and there are a lot of Easter eggs for any die hard fans out there! A must have for any fans of Alien or survival horror games.

P.s not for the faint hearted or easily angered!! This game will test your patience and bladder strength!!
