This was one of the best series I have ever read. I was not happy when I was nearing the end of the story because I did not want it to end. But I was oh so glad I had another story in the series to read. This story was very different from any other series I have ever read. The story was well written without being confusing even though the story line encompassed many other planets and aliens, everything was kept at a level that was easy to follow and remember from story to story. The females are strong females, they are either alpha's from the start of the story or turn into alpha's by the end of the stories. But, I wish there would of been more of the females holding there own in the beginning of each relationship instead of giving in to the men with in a few short pages. I was very upset that the series came to an end but Alien Interludes was a great book that I was able to put questions to rest about what happened to certain characters. This series is a MUST read! AND the Kindle books are FULL books.

The heroine is fairly annoying and very pathetic. She's also rather stupid. But she does make the clan look good so it's worth the read. I'd suggest reading this clans book fist to give the Heroes more depth. One of the best written clans in the series.

There are reviews on this book that really shouldn't be here. If you don't like the subject matter, why in this universe would you buy this or accept an ARC for it?

I've read other "alien menage" series and I have to say that this series is as good (or better) as any out there. This author's writing is easy to read and emotional in impact. The stories are extremely erotic MFMM and MMM is hinted at but not described in any sort of detail. This is all about the woman and she is most definitely one very lucky lady. The matara of a clan is treated with respect and desire. The men in the clan know that she is the key to the future of their people since there are few females on their planet able to give birth.

If you are new to this genre, give it a try if you are tempted by the subject matter. If it offends you, move onto something else. If you enjoy this series half as much as me, you'll have found your new best read.

I like Tracy St. John's Alien series. That said, this is not one of my favorites. In fact I would really like to give it just 2.5 stars.
Likes
1. I really liked the Imdinko in this story. He was flawed and adorable. He was also the only thing romantic about the whole book.
2. The many different alien species are always well written. I liked that there was more about the Tragooms this time.
3. The discription of the planet was great and I could really feel what they were going through.
Dislikes
1. I realize that through all the books there is this anti-religion rant. It is really getting to be old and tiresome. The horse is dead, stop beating it!!
2. The erotica is well written but why the need for so much abuse. Sometimes it even boarders on rape. I can't understand if the female was being given 'freedom' by the Hero's then why do they have to take it away when they feel threatened by it. She wasn't even allowed her own thoughts for crying out loud. Slapping her chest during sex, beating her for running for her freedom, telling her that she should think of how her choices effected others, then proceeded to allow the Heros to ignore just that with a wild beast. Please this was hypocrisy!
3. ZERO ROMANCE! It was just sex, sex, violence, submission, sex and more sex.
I am hoping for something more in the next book. As I said I really do like the Alien Series. If I could ask Ms. St. John for anything it would be.
1. More romance, less pulvarizing of the woman sexually.( or at least not in every sex scene)
2. Take us back to the home planet. I would love to know more about the lottery and the mortitorium.
3. How about the women who are single mothers or older. How are they treated/cared for.
4. How about giving us some updates on how the other couples are doing. I miss them.

Let me start by saying that I've read all the books in the Kalqour series by Tracy St. John to date. Each book IMO is better then the last. Ms. St.John stays true to the continuation of the Series, Plot or ark, while creating individual stories that both titillate and grab the intererst of the reader. I can't wait for the next book in this series. I loved the Clan in this book the best. Also it was nice to see more of the companionship and love the clan share for each other, that I did not see in the last books. Dani is a lovable spoiled little rich girl, with just the right amount of brat-i-ness to make you slap your forhead and the perfect vulnerability to to really make you want to pick her up and hug all her pain away. And her clan are just as likable.

Thank Ms. St. John for a wonderfully written and passionate story!

I love this series! So many wonderful hours of reading enjoyment! It has good story lines and lots of romance.

Poor Dani. Everyone has let her down her entire life and she is incredibly impulsive. I can totally get that. That means that she makes some stupid mistakes though, like signing up to be an indentured sex worker in a brothel, or running away from the Kalquorian clan who purchased her contract from the brothel. She knows that the Kalquorians are her enemies and destroyed Earth, even if she had fun with them, so now that she doesn't have the tracking chip on her collar around her neck, she's going to run away and find a place where Earthers can be safe. However, it doesn't work that way.

I feel for Dani and she frustrates me too. She's much more competent than the Kalquorians give her credit for at first, but that doesn't mean that she didn't run away from them and end up on a ship that was falling apart and crashed on a dangerous moon. They do take good care of her though, even when she doesn't want them too.

I thought this was a good addition to the rest of the series.

Yep. I want my own set of aliens. I loved the guys in this story. No nonsense when they are messed with but also loving to the ones they care for. Dani was really annoying up till the end when she redeemed herself. Don't like spoilt people. The author did it again with a good description of the environment. Loved it.
