I've read other "alien menage" series and I have to say that this series is as good (or better) as any out there. This author's writing is easy to read and emotional in impact. The stories are extremely erotic MFMM and MMM is hinted at but not described in any sort of detail. This is all about the woman and she is most definitely one very lucky lady. The matara of a clan is treated with respect and desire. The men in the clan know that she is the key to the future of their people since there are few females on their planet able to give birth.
If you are new to this genre, give it a try if you are tempted by the subject matter. If it offends you, move onto something else. If you enjoy this series half as much as me, you'll have found your new best read.

1. I really liked the Imdinko in this story. He was flawed and adorable. He was also the only thing romantic about the whole book.
2. The many different alien species are always well written. I liked that there was more about the Tragooms this time.
3. The discription of the planet was great and I could really feel what they were going through.
Dislikes
1. I realize that through all the books there is this anti-religion rant. It is really getting to be old and tiresome. The horse is dead, stop beating it!!
2. The erotica is well written but why the need for so much abuse. Sometimes it even boarders on rape. I can't understand if the female was being given 'freedom' by the Hero's then why do they have to take it away when they feel threatened by it. She wasn't even allowed her own thoughts for crying out loud. Slapping her chest during sex, beating her for running for her freedom, telling her that she should think of how her choices effected others, then proceeded to allow the Heros to ignore just that with a wild beast. Please this was hypocrisy!
3. ZERO ROMANCE! It was just sex, sex, violence, submission, sex and more sex.
I am hoping for something more in the next book. As I said I really do like the Alien Series. If I could ask Ms. St. John for anything it would be.
1. More romance, less pulvarizing of the woman sexually.( or at least not in every sex scene)
2. Take us back to the home planet. I would love to know more about the lottery and the mortitorium.
3. How about the women who are single mothers or older. How are they treated/cared for.
4. How about giving us some updates on how the other couples are doing. I miss them.
Thank Ms. St. John for a wonderfully written and passionate story!
I feel for Dani and she frustrates me too. She's much more competent than the Kalquorians give her credit for at first, but that doesn't mean that she didn't run away from them and end up on a ship that was falling apart and crashed on a dangerous moon. They do take good care of her though, even when she doesn't want them too.
I thought this was a good addition to the rest of the series.
