This handy diddy would have saved me a few hard earned dollars when I started learning to play guitar. Every chord book I purchased as a beginner could have been replaced with this app. Does it show you all the chords no. Only about 23.But those 23 chords could play thousands of songs.PROs: learn the finger position of 23 popular chords,no changing of strings, Very portable, Priced just rght(free)and easy on the fingers.Cons: It cannot shred, only 6 single notes are avalable, no blues bending strings. If you have never picked up a guitar and love to fiddle what can you lose? if you are looking for somethng that will turn you into the 2nd comming of Jimi Hendrix buy a stratocaster.

A fun app with great sound. I just wish there were a way to finger pick and play bass runs.

Great first guitar for my nine year old granddaughter. Easy learning. Though its for learning to play, it's a real guitar and very nice. She loves it. Good buy

I really enjoy playing with this app. It's another good little creative time waster for when I get bored with playing games or reading while I'm waiting somewhere. I sometimes which it had a record feature. About the only thing I grump about on it is that sometimes I'm too fast in my strumming and picking and it'll miss some. But that doesn't happen too terribly often. That's also not what the app was really designed for, so I don't expect perfection there. LOL I'm not a real hardcore musician, so I'm more interested in its creative amusement capabilities.

I am paralyzed from the chest down from an accident 17 years ago. I had been looking for a way to play guitar again. This app helps me do just that. I do wish it had more chords and they were all on one screen instead of having to flip between screens, but it is still a great app for my needs.

this is a neat idea, however I can't seem to get the hang f it. I gave it to a friend who does play guitar and he had trouble at first then kinda got it to play. It is a good idea but it needs some one with patience to operate it properly

You might think upon seeing this app that it is a playable guitar app like many that have come before it. It isnt. It is really more of a chord tutor. You can strum individual chords and hear what they should sound like. From that standpoint, it is fine. However, that is strictly all it is contrary to claims otherwise. Is it the worst app of all time? No. However, i wouldnt even call this one average. Personally, i expected better. If the name of the app had been "Acoustic Guitar Chords" or something, i think i would have given it three stars, but it purports to be something it isnt, and so i can only justify two stars personally. There are better apps out there that are also free.

Makes a nice fast tuner, and you can listen to chords, which is helpful. You can strum slower tunes on it...it certainly doesn't play like a musical instrument, but kids like it and it's fun to fool around with. I find it helpful to hear notes and chords when I'm throwing some music together. And it's frettable, too, which is cool when you're trying to find the right note and you don't have an instrument in your lap.
