Top Customer Reviews
It's definitely been a big help. Tom provides all the steps you need to setup an account for short selling. He also covers options and futures.
More importantly, Tom has a framework to analyze short sale targets. He looks at the financials and how to detect the risk factors. But there is also analysis of strategic changes, which can be critically important.
Finally, Tom covers different types of special situations, like IPOs, commodities, tech stocks and so on.
Tom's book has certainly been insightful. So, if you want to know more about this subject - which really does not have much explanation out there - then this is the book for you.
UPDATE: See recent review of "All About Dividends", citing editing errors as well. Poor quality may indeed be a series-wide problem.
As the title implies, it talks about the process.
What I liked the most were the chapters on analyzing a company's financial. The author provides excellent tools to ferret out the time bombs in a company. It can be a big help for avoiding some stocks and it is an area that is not covered much in books.
