It's a good movie, well written and acted, realistic situations and personalities, but so hard to sit through (and yet I did...) It was great to see the characters click through this difficult situation, but the difficult situation wasn't really fun to witness. For those who are wondering, there is very little sex, so if you're looking for cheesecake, go somewhere else : ) If what the writers were hoping to get across was that real orgies are a rare and unrealistic event, then I'd say they've done a great job. I liked it. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who's trying to find a way to dissuade their partner from trying to set up an orgy.

This movie was very content focused, -- not like your b-movie where they are just trying to come up with some slop to match the box title (which would be the main selling point) close enough to get the thing out the door and move on to the next. The dialog doesn't follow the typical rules about how people talk and act and respond in your standard formula Hollywood fare, its very realistic and interesting -- as if the people really exist instead of all coming out of one writer's head. I really enjoyed it, and hope to see a lot more orgy movies coming out, because I would like to see the nation moving in that direction culturally in the coming decades! (Just saw "A Good Old-fashioned Orgy" which is the polar opposite of this film, but good it its own way).

Thanks to pure coincidence, I was able to view the 2009 sex comedy "All American Orgy" one evening on television. I found myself pleasantly surprised by clever dialog and a few hilarious situations in this clumsy independent work. With the worst title in film history (second only to Porky's), I fully expected "All American Orgy" to be a tasteless romp uncomfortably lowering my IQ. Instead, it's a sexually frank, challenging film detailing the intimate frustrations of a trio of late-20-something couples hoping to spice their dreary marriages.

Situated in Louisiana of all places, the three couples, friends since college, decide to meet for the weekend in the country where they'll sip mojitos and participate in group sex. The couples are a mixed bag of contrasts, including Alan and Yasmine (Adam Busch and Yasmine Kittles), a bickering yuppie pair; Gordon and Rachel (Jordan Kessler and Aimee-Lynn Chadwick), an alcoholic and a belle; and Todd and Tina (Ted Beck and Laura Silverman), a rustic, earthy twosome hosting the event. It's clear early on some have lusts for others and there's even a surprise proclamation of love. But through a comedy of errors, the orgy never really takes place, though they certainly try. If this ruins the film for you, well, go rent a porn.

There's some interesting twists likely intentional, most notably one of the least exotic locales one can imagine for such shenanigans. A dilapidated Louisiana lake house with wood paneling, green couches and stained curtains is certainly not the stuff of 9 1/2 Weeks.

The title deceives and the content splits your side! This movie is a hilarious movie if you can permit yourself to be cerebral. Much of it will seem even funnier when you think about scenes later on, or watch it again and again. Some may be disappointed to find out that it is not a raunchy graphic movie. Others may say it is so bad it's good. But I cannot think of another movie that has made me think to laugh and laugh to think than this one. I could see this film emerging as a cult classic. Sort of like The Big Lebowski meets American Pie!

I seldom review anything, but find myself COMPELLED to. This film, which was known as "Cummings Farm" or something similar, is not the "american" comedy style movie the cover would lead one to believe. The woman in the bikini isn't even IN THE MOVIE.

In truth, it is a nice little indie movie about some couples who are brought to a lakehouse to have an arranged orgy - which is a similar plot that has been copied a few times by larger budget features in the years since. I saw this on it's festival run, and it's a shame that a sleeper, cute, indie comedy has been dressed up like some straight to video "American Pie 16: Senioritis" or some garbage.

It's free if you have prime, so support small filmmakers and give it a look - it's smarter than you think it is. Movie executives think that dressing it up like the new VAN WILDER will get kids to watch it - when they should be heading up the movie nerd, hipster indie crowd.

This is one of those horrible movies that you start watching wondering why you're watching it the entire time that you're watching it. And when you're done, you'll say to yourself how stupid it was, but you'll finish watching it just because you started it and you owe it to yourself to see how this dumb movie ends.

Here you have three couples that want to get together to have an orgy, which sounds interesting to most of them in concept, but considering the women each have a problem with having sex with one or more of the guys because of how gross/douchey they are, then the orgy has a problem getting legs.

So it's not a movie that has sex in it, but rather a movie about six acquaintances trying to work themselves up into a sexual situation.

You have a nerdy guy and his ski-slope nosed horny girlfriend, and they aren't getting along as a couple and they brought Platypus Wine to the party. From the start, you wonder why they're together. Nerdy guy is afraid of black people. You'd think he'd have the funny lines, like the kid in Hot Tub Time Machine, but he doesn't. None of them do.

You have the skinniest guy you've ever seen who looks dorky, has a disgusting sense of humor, nothing funny to say, a drinking problem, a drug problem, sleeps all the time, and of course he has the hottest girl there. Who isn't necessarily Hot, but she's so much better looking than the others that this makes her more attractive.

You have the hosts of the party. David Arquette's sleazy twin and his self-loathing wife, who doesn't want to have the orgy but likes pleasing her gross husband.

This review is already way too long. The dialogue isn't funny and there's nothing sexy about this flick. It's a couple losers and a nerdy guy with women they probably don't deserve, making stupid remarks back and forth, trying to get ready to do this thing that never ends up transpiring (which is probably the only thing that's decent about the movie, because it wouldn't make sense to have these 6 having an orgy).
