As with all All-Clad products the quality is second to none. It even has the classic All Clad handle for comfort and the metal is very thick, no bending with this ladle. The polished surface looks really nice and is very easy to clean. But, despite what others here have posted, it is not 8 ounces. I was looking for an ounce ladle and bought this based on the information provided by other shoppers here on Amazon. If you fill the bowl to the brim and pour it into a measuring cup it measures 6 ounces, not 8, so please, if you don't know how to measure liquids don't answer people's questions as to capacity. I still intend to keep this ladle as the quality truly is exceptional.
