About the Author
Her books are all standalone reads with no cliffhangers. They're humorous yet emotional, with sexy-times and happily-ever-afters. Vivian pretty much thinks she's got the best job in the world, and she's looking forward to giving readers more HEAs. She lives in B.C. Canada with her husband of many years and a fluffy attack Shih-tzu named Luna who ignores everyone except when treats are deployed.
A RITA-award nominated author, Elle Kennedy grew up in the suburbs of Toronto, Ontario, and holds a B.A. in English from York University. From an early age, she knew she wanted to be a writer, and actively began pursuing that dream when she was a teenager.
Elle currently publishes with Signet Eclipse, Harlequin Romantic Suspense, and Samhain Publishing. She loves strong heroines and sexy alpha heroes, and just enough heat and danger to keep things interesting!

My first suggestion would be to read the sample before buying. The idea of having three alpha males (former military) planning romantic parties seemed unusual. Sadly, it degenerated into silliness.
Imagine our three vets being given a person's name and where she works, but then asking their secretary to contact their buddy at the police station to get her contact info. Hello! Internet anyone? ??
The dialogue is pretty stiff. Our heroine says things like "gosh" during a three - way encounter.
Apparently this kind of sexual hijinks is the norm for our saucy trio, yet right after the action, one of them wants to stake his claim and fly solo with the heroine. So a couple of hours ago, you couldn't have figured that out?
Having three hot guys following strange women around to find our their favorite color and other preferences just got lame. If they followed you into the grocery store to pick up a few items, how would they know you liked lobster and filet mignon for a fancy night out? "Hey guys! She likes Cheerios, whole wheat bread and mint toothpaste!"
At one point in the book, our GI Joes need to get to the heroine a.s.a.p. The wannabe boyfriend complains that they had to haggle with someone to borrow the guy`s truck for a couple of hours. He makes a mental note to kick the guy`s butt for delaying them over the $100 price. So, action man, your girlfriend`s life is on the line. Why not toss the guy a thousand bucks? (Their company owns a freaking yacht.) Why not beat him up and grab his keys? This was too funny. I can hear it in my head. "Men, Lynn is in danger. Offer him $40. No, he wants $200. Try $60! She`s worth it!"
Couldn't decide on 1 star or two. Two because the book was only $.80. Definitely don't want to know more about what's coming next with Jack and Pepper. This wouldn't be on my reread list or as they would say in this book -- I. WOULD. NOT. READ. THIS. AGAIN.
3 former army rangers who left the military to start a service for men to help plan romantic dates? WTF?
2 convince their "target" i.e., the woman for whom the date is planned (and it's a secret) to have a threesome after they find out she's ditched their client? WTF?
Then one of them wants to date her and asks her immediately after the threesome? WTF?
And the other partner (the third who was left out) mentions that he some time might want in on the action? And he's hot so she actually considers it? WTF?
And then after learning that said woman's big relationship dealbreaker is dishonesty, he continues to lie to her for the entire 2 months he was seeing her? WTF?
Then her ex (the one that hired them in the first place) goes off the deep end and kidnaps her and she doesn't want to press charges? WTF?
And it didn't creep her out that he broke into her apartment or tamper with her car? WTF?

So ok, if you are going to get this book you will need to stretch your imagination a bit to believe that three ex army rangers decide to start a successful dating company. Successful enough to own a yacht (only in America people, only in America).
But it's through this business, that Lynn and Parker meet. He's supposed to be arranging a date for Lynn and her boyfriend, except the boyfriend knows nothing about her. How can a dating company arrange a dream date with no information? Recon, that's how and it's during this mission that Parker meets and falls in lust with Lynn whilst doing hot yoga (once again, only in America people).
Lynn falls in lust with Parker too, but her ex isn't too happy with being dumped. This leads to all sorts of shenanigans which includes being kidnapped and held hostage in a mansion.
Alot of this story shakes the boundaries of plausibility but it's all done in good fun.
Great little read. Enjoy peeps 😉
We also get a little about Parkers sister Pepper , who appears in the next book. I am looking forward to reading the next two books in the series and finding out more about Dean and Jack.
I loved this from start to finish. I need to go now as I am about to read the next in the series Love is a Battlefield and am so looking forward to it x
And don't talk about suz,she is so hilarious,I loved her actions
Can't wait to read book 2
It gives a different line on ex soldiers still making them a " hero"
