I suppose I need to do adult things before starting book 3. I bought it at the same time as this one because I loved book 1 so much. Lol.
Only one editing error, an improperly used word that sounded correct but wasn’t.
Amazing. Steamy. Fast-paced. Deep.

The characters continue to impress, with Kenzie growing closer to Hunter, Finnick and Ash as she learns more about them. I love that despite being broken and confused about what they're feeling (whether their feelings are really, or only due to the mate bond magic), they analyse everything with an open mind and gradually with an open heart. Sometimes it takes almost losing someone to see what was right in front of you the whole time.
There are more intimate moments in this book, but I also loved that there was balance - that the conversations and just being near each other was just as important. None of their encounters seemed out of place or forced within the story - it all flowed naturally.
I can't wait to read the next book and see how it all comes together. Definitely a series, and author, that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
