I purchased this book to help my kids understand before I started my transition.
It was too repetitive for my 8 year old. Just right for my 6 year old.
The younger child needs / enjoys the repetitive message.
It is hard to find books on gender self expression.
I am happy to see this book in the world and I am happy to, in some way support the author.
Overall I feel if it were printed a little better and edited a bit it would be worth the price, however, right now it feels a bit expensive for what you get.
That said there are few books dealing with the subject of gender for children so I applaud both the author and illustrator for creating some wonderful content. I wish the presentation of the content was equally as well done.
