5 stars ain't enough.
Wow! Every song on this CD is great, I only wish there were more -- 6 tracks plus 2 remixes just isn't enough (here's hoping for another Christmas album soon). Especially wonderful are a nice version of "Strange Way to Save the World," a very lively, loud version of "Joy to the World," and a livlier, louder version of "Sleigh Ride."
In comparison with this, Hilary Duff's (of LIZZIE MCGUIRE fame) Christmas album is, shall we say, not as good, and her rendition of songs from this album (there are four of them) hurt my hears after listening to the Jump5 versions.
If you want a good, exciting Christmas album for kids or adults (like me)-- or just new versions of some classics -- this is the one to get, you won't regret it. If you're looking for an album that'll put you to sleep, however, I recommend you seek something else and buy this for when you wanna wake up. Anyway, just get this CD. You'll like it so much you'll buy the other Jump5 albums, which are equally as wonderful. Just trust me.
Lastly: ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS NEXT YEAR IS A NEW JUMP5 CHRISTMAS ALBUM, but that'll probably be too soon. Maybe if, ahem, ALL THE *PEOPLE* IN THE WORLD (or at least a whole lot of them) buy this one...

A Kid's Review on November 21, 2004

Okay for all you people to know, I don't have the cd! (YET!) But I know the first song cuz my school (a Christian one) has a Christmas Program for 2004 and we're singing A Strange Way To Save The World as one of our songs! So I'm really really amazed that Jump5 sang the song that my school (and Me!) are singing! Even if I don't have this cd (cuz I can't find it at any stores! please help me!) Jump5 is a great singing group/band and I have their cd Jump5 and All The Time In The World. I didn't get their other two though. But I bet it's great! I've seen them in concert @ Disneyland and California Adventures and they're really really nice. I'm glad they sing Christian music. Cuz I'm the only Christian in my family! :( If you're not a Christian, I encourage you to be cause God sent Jesus to earth to save all of our lives and He died for all our sins also! I hope my review helped! If it did, click on the YES button below my review! And if my review didn't, I'm soo sorry! Click the NO buttion if you want.... God Bless ya all!

A Kid's Review on August 28, 2004

This CD really rocks. Usually, I had this weird thing at winter where I hate everything about Christmas (yes, I was once like that), but when I listened to samples of this CD, I knew I just had to have it (well, I still don't have it). They do the traditional songs just the way I like them!

Joy To The World (5/5): This is my favorite version of this song! I didn't like it until I heard J5 do it! If you don't mind, it is VERY poppy sounding.

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town (3/5): Hmm..this isn't my favorite. I don't usually like this song. I'm not sure what to think about it.

Sleigh Ride (5/5): I've always loved this song, but I loved it even more when I heard J5 do it! I really like this version..it's pretty and poppy!

Wonderful Christmastime (4/5): I always did like this song, but of course, nobody can do it like Jump5! I really like it. If you didn't like the original version, you surely will end up liking this one!

Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree/Jingle Bell Rock (5/5): I REALLY LOVE this one! It really rocks. It has a "feel-good" sound. It's one of my favorite Christmas songs!

Strange Way To Save The World (3/5): For some reason, I can NEVER remember how this song goes! From what I can remember, it was pretty good.

Remixes (5/5): Well, these are just as good as the originals, if not better! Otherwise, I would ditto the comments on Sleigh Ride and Wonderful Christmastime.

I am a huge fan of Jump5 and this Cd is the best one they have made!!! (not to say there other ones aren't great)!! I especially like Strange way to save the World because it makes you think why did God do these things! I have not heard anything better than this Christmas music Jump5 has recorded!! It has a little rock in roll in it and it has alot of like slow and soft music! Jump5 are very talented artist! Libby,Brittany,Brandon,Lesley and Chris are all great singers and you will see this on there CD!!!

1. Joy to the World - Wow, a great opening track. It definately gets you excited to hear the rest of the songs. 5/5
2. Santa Claus is Coming to Town - I like how they open the song with almost a "Carol of the Bells" melody. Then, it's really fast, pop, dancey music. I like this song most, because the guys finally sing lead. 5/5
3. Let it Snow - Probably my favorite Christmas song ever, so I was a bit afraid to hear if they would ruin it or not. I really like it, it's really happy. I think Lesley's vocals sound really pretty on this track. 5/5
4. Wonderful Christmasstime - Maybe I'm crazy, but I have never heard this song before, but I really like it. Its a bit slower, more laid back, and I think the guys have really good vocals on this song. 5/5
5. Rockin Around the Christmas Tree/Jingle Bell Rock - I actually saw a live performance of this song on some talk show, and that's what convinced me to purchase the CD. It's really fun, a great Christmas party song. 5/5
6. Strange Way to Save the World - Oh man, this song is BEAUTIFUL. It's the most Christian song on the CD, but all the vocals and lyrics are totally awesome. 5/5
7. Let it Snow (remix) - This is the first song on the CD that I was sorta disappointed by. It's good, but Christmas songs just SHOULDN'T have remixes. It's not bad, but the bass doesn't fit with Christmas music. 4/5
8. Wonderful Christmas Time (remix) - I like this version more than the original, but they're both good. I love the line "Simply having a wonderful Christmas time..." (even though it's repeated a million times) 5/5
This is a great Christmas CD, *much* better than Hilary Duff's "Santa Claus Lane" because for the most part, these are traditional Christmas songs with a little more..."oomph." Highly recommended.
