"Widowed, single-parent businesswoman Angela Delaney is mowed down in a hotel hallway by a human dynamo. To her shock, the repentant culprit is none other than superstar singer and musician Darryl Bridges--and the tingles running up her arms have nothing to do with the sweet music he makes, but the electric attraction that leaps between them from the first moment of contact.
Darryl has never met a woman like Angela. She's easy to talk to, fun to be with and, although she likes his music, she's not in awe of him. After months of letters and phone calls, he convinces her to spend the weekend in his home-no strings attached -and ends up being swept off his feet by Angela's beauty and warmth. It's no wonder he asks her to marry him.
Angela accepts Darryl's proposal, loving him too much to do anything else, but she's not prepared for the fishbowl life Darryl leads. Constant security, no privacy, obnoxious reporters, jealous fans, and death threats take their toll on the relationship. Angela wonders if their love is strong enough to withstand the ravages of Darryl's superstardom.
Raynetta Manees has written a warm, loving romance with the consummate skill of a veteran novelist. Her insight into the hearts of her characters makes ALL FOR LOVE a unique reading experience."
From the Author
Book 2 of the series, "All For Love: The SuperStar" was released Sept. 23, 2016!
I actually composed music for the song "Whenever We're Apart," which the book's hero, Darryl Bridges, has written for his lady, Angela Delaney. The song's lyrics appear in both "All For Love (Angela's story), and its "mirror image" book, "All For Love: The SuperStar," (Darryl's story). Like to hear how the song sounds? There is a video of the song on my Amazon Author Page, on my website, "Raynetta's World of Romance," and on Goodreads.
