Made in China even though branded as "Best of Thailand". Seems like regular white vinegar

Although marketed as "Best of Thailand", the product is made in China. And even if it says it is made with rice on the ingredient line, it looks, smells and tastes like regular white vinegar. I suspect that it is an adulterated product. Even worse, cannot be returned or refunded so I'm out $13 for a crap product that's going into the trash.

I made pickled ginger with this rice vinegar and it was really good. This is a great product. The bottle looks like a flimsy water bottle, but it is much thicker and more rigid than a water bottle.

I haven't used rice vinegar in a few years, but this seemed way too mild. I used it to make sushi rice, which ended up tasting way different than it normally does. If I buy rice vinegar again, I'm going with a different brand.

Like another reviewer mentions this seems misleading. We avoid corn because of sensitivity therefore cannot have distilled vinegar (derived from corn). I had a reaction as well as my son. Should have smelled it before using. Thankfully it was mild.
