Works Great As a Smart Home Hub, And Do Many More Things.

The Echo Dot 5th Gen is amazing. When I received my Alexa, I set it up right away. The set up process was very quick and easy. All you have to do is install the "Alexa" app. I had a few issues with it when talking to it. The voice kept freezing and I had to wait 30 seconds for it to unfreeze. It later stopped doing this, but it was just weird. Other than that, I played music on it. I do not use Amazon Music, so I connected my Spotify account to it and use that as my music provider for my Alexa. Overall, great smart home hub and speaker and is compatable with most smart home accessories!
