Imagine finding a book with the collected wisdom of some of the wisest relationship experts of the 21st century. At a time when messages of doom about marriage and enduring relationships abound, Susanne Alexander has created an amazing collection of solid advice for those who want to make relationships work. I have been a Marriage and Family Therapist for more than 30 years and married for 55 years, and I believe you don't find a soul mate, you learn to become one. The key is for both partners to be open to learning.

This is a good book overall. It is pretty thick and has taken me weeks to finish little by little. I purchased this book because my boyfriend and I have talked about getting married and we both think pre-marital counseling is very important. The book definitely has a strong religious slant so that may be offputting to some. Overall, it contains a great deal of valuable information and conversation starters for engaged couples/those considering marriage.
I strongly urge you to buy this book for your library, share it with engaged friends and relatives, and read it to strengthen your own marriage and relationships.
Powerfully transformational...a MUST read!
